Past few days have been harder for me, my left breast is being a bit strange, I’ve been reassured it’s normal by a nurse but I want to know if anyone else has experienced this?
This morning I woke up fine, had a bit of morning boob, managed to sit up and I literally felt my left implant slide into the bottom of my boob, and it was painful, like stabbing burning sensations. There’s slight bruising around my underboob, it came out about 3 days ago. I did have a slight shoulder injury so I’m assuming that’s aggravated my muscle and caused the bruising.
I’m just getting a bit worried really, probably for absolutely no reason, but I can’t get it out of my head that something might be up.

Hey Sophie, I am 4 weeks post op this weekend and my left breast has been so different to my right. I’ve had stabbing pains, swelling, weird feelings in my left and nothing in my right. I think it’s just your body adjusting to the implant and it’s all very normal! I have slight bruising that is still there now. It sounds like everything you have is pretty normal for recovery 🙂

@krose1 oh god thank you so much for replying! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s getting such strange feelings in my left, my right is just fine! My left is definitely the evil sister. Thank you! I hope your recovery is going well ?

Hey 🙂 Im 2weeks PO and the sensations in my boobs are so strange ive been starting to worry too. My right has been way more painful than the left since the op with shooting, stabbing, tearing pains that make me wince. My left nothing, but last few days both are unbelievably sensitive, numb but tingly and yet hurt to touch especially my nipples. They aren’t that soft yet either so wondering if this is all normal. Its such a worry isn’t it cos we all heal differently. Also my incisions itch like a b*tch! xx

Hi ladies I’m 3wpo this Friday and my left has taken longer to recover. I’ve had pins and needles around the nipple, had a strange popping sensation like someone’s popping bubble wrap in my boob. I went back to the clinic to be checked and was told it’s totally normal! No longer concerned xx

Hi ladies – I am 5 day post op and I have been worrying about strange feelings/sensations in my left boob. It sounds like what you have mentioned above “someone popping bubble wrap” and also other times it feels like there’s fluid moving around my boob, has anyone had this?? This is only one boob and my right boob Is fine now – hardly any pain at all considering I’m only 5 days PO! Which makes me think there’s something wrong with the left one. I have my one week check UP on Monday so will speak to the nurse then but any advice would be be appreciated xxx

It’s completely normal.. just after my op I could feel it.. it was like a clicking sensation… about week 4 I could feel it when massaging them.. I’m now 6 weeks and it’s almost gone. I asked the nurse at my 6 week appointment and she said it’s completely normal and very common… it should go completely after time xx

I am 4 weeks post op and I had a strange feeling in my left breast from about 3 weeks. It felt like a rubbing sensation inside, which was worsened when I walk. I felt as though I needed to hold into relieve the feeling. It has also been far more numb and swollen than my right, but sensation is now returning to my nipple and the feeling is beginning to reduce. The left still looks slightly larger and appears to be dropping faster, but I assume this is part of the healing process
