I went for my 7 day check and all is healing well! My left one (as you look at pic) is the most bruised and swollen and the one on the right has already started to drop slightly compared to the other. I was hoping to be given the all clear for a shower but apparently Mr Traynor likes his patients to wait a few more days so I can take small dressings off on Saturday morning 🙂
Pain wise – I stopped pain relief at 4DPO and now I only really have discomfort moving in certain ways such as getting up and down and reaching high. They seem to hurt more in the mornings; I believe they call it morning boob!!
The other pic shows the bruising I have on one side – I’ve never seen bruising like it but apparently it’s completely normal.
