Hey ladies. I’m 3 day post op. I had 375 high profile unders on Friday with Dr Linda Fiumara. Just thought I’d update you all on my experience and how I’m feeling. Sorry for the long post I just know I found these posts very helpful!

Got to the hospital for 11am. The nurse came in and took blood pressure etc. Then the anaesthetist came and gave me some consent forms followed by Linda drawing on me and taking before photos. I was being taken down the theatre by 12:30. It was quite clinical and scary but they made me feel so relaxed. It’s the weirdest feeling getting knocked out but I woke up about 3pm in recovery and felt fine – just a heavy feeling on my chest. I was wheeled back into my room and must have drifted in and out of sleep for a while. Linda came in and fitted my m&s bra and band for me. She told me everything went well and I didn’t bleed much which is good! She was so lovely and gave lots of advice. I couldn’t move much at all and the nurse even had to pull my knickers up for me after a wee which was slightly embarrassing! My mum picked me up about 7 so I was given my medication and was on my way home ! The car ride home wasn’t very comfortable (so many potholes!).

In terms of pain I’ve had a bit of nightmare! I was fine Saturday morning but I started to react badly to co-codamal and was being sick all night Saturday. I’ve switched to paracetamol and have improved loads. I’m no expert or doctor but I’d say as soon as you start to feel a bit sick with the pain killers they give you maybe try to switch to Paraclete – reaching to be sick with no food in my tummy was agony on my chest. My mum is doing absolutely everything for me so she’s my saviour! My v pillow and drinking out of straws are great so I recommend them.

Woken up this morning with a bit more movement so I’m hoping today is my turning point. I’ve had to switch to my Macom as my M&S bra was so tight and I think that has helped me in terms of movement and pain too.

The photos below are pre op (32b) from the front and side, right after the op and one day post op . They’re still very high and hard and swollen but I’m happy with them! Excuse the pen marks I’m too scared to rub hard as it’s quite sensitive still.
