3weeks post op

Hello all! So I’m 3weeks post op now and was doing great! My youngest was unwell and came into our bed and since then I’m back to being sore again,then last night I became ill with flu like symptoms,my whole body is aching. Would you be worried or just wait for it to settle again? I think she maybe bashed me up a bit during the night and that’s why I’m tender again, just feel like I’ve taken a step back ?

If your child was ill and has slept with you it sounds as though you have got what she/he had! I wouldn’t worry about body aching if you’ve got other cold symptoms!

As long as your breast isn’t swollen, red, very tender or oozing anything then I wouldn’t worry! I would just make sure you continue to sleep propped upright and take it easy 🙂

I went to the docs today as noticed one of my incisions has a tiny bit which is weeping. She’s given me some antibiotics just incase but isn’t hugely worried! I’m hopeful it will just pass. Would you say it’s normal to still have scabs 3weeks on? Nikki x

Definitely Nikki! Mine didn’t go fully until 7 weeks!
