5ft 2, 9stone can’t decide on 275 unders or 250 over teardrop or round?

Hey ladies,

I am due one last consultation with my Surgeon (not MYA – Sorry) before my surgery in Feb but I’m finding it hard to come to a decision.
I had originally decided for 250 teardrop overs? But Im also worried about loosing volume at the top part of my Breast because that’s what I’m lacking? I want smallish natural looking breasts but now I’m thinking maybe a 275 round implant to increase volume at the top but go under the muscle? Any thoughts or suggestions from girls with similar stats as me? Any advice would be greatly received?

If you lack volume at the top then I would say go for unders. My surgeon would only let me have unders where I lacked volume on top x

I had 295cc hp teardrop unders as I’d lost most of my breast tissue. As I’m quite bony on top my surgeon suggested teardrop as I was worried about them looking stuck on. Look up #drtav on instagram, good examples of fullness and cleavage with teardrop implants on there.

I second Dr Tav having loads of amazing teardrop results!! I was really bony and thin on top, and had 275cc round unders and have a fullness on top now which looks pretty natural I think. Did your surgeon recommend teardrop or did you drive it? I would ask your surgeons advice of whats going to help you get the results you want. Have you seen the recent thread called something like ‘can’t decide between 225, 250 or 275’- there’s some pictures on there of round ones!

Rounds that I have seen on here look amazing and really natural so I don’t think it really matters which you choose in terms of style in that regard. I followed the advice of my surgeon and nurse as they know what works best for your body shape. This forum is a god send for research and peace of mind though!

I’d say if your lacking vol at top then go for rounds Hun and teardrop is mainly used for people who have a lot of vol on top already xxx

I’m going in on Monday, I lack the volume too (through breast feeding!) I’ve been advised to have round unders. Still got to choose my cc’s on the day! I looked into the teardrop shape first but were told they have been known to turn, that was enough to put me off that idea! X

I’ve had 275cc round HP unders, was 32AA before, I’m only 17 days PO so still a lot of changes to come but attached is a pik xx

Hi hun, I have similar stats to you. I’m 5ft2 and around 8 stone. I’m 16 weeks post op now. I had 275s unders round HP. I wanted the same as you just natural, not too big for my frame. I didn’t have much breast tissue at all or volume on top for that matter! Was more like an A.A cup rather then A to begin with. I was only ever advised round HP unders by my surgeon as this would look the most natural on me. The most I was offered was 300CC, so went for the 275s in the end. Like the other girls said I would deffo follow your surgeons advice 🙂 I have attached a recent pic for you of my results. I can send you a before pic too if you like! Xx

Whats your bra size now stephanie? I had your exact same implants and was also offered a max of 300cc however i went with 275 because i was scared that anything bigger might turn out to be too big but now really disappointed that I didn’t go bigger

@lala111 Hi hun, yeah same reason why I chose the 275s I felt the 300s looked mammoth on my body when I was trying on the sizes! How long are you post op now? Don’t worry they are going to change so much, they will fluff out. I measure either a 32DD or 30E. Depends on brand 🙂 xx

I am 25dpo and looking forward to the fluffing, but really DD or E! I thought I’ll max be a full C to an empty D, i started off with an A like you or a really deflated B

@lala111 I think it is mostly down to me having such a small back! So cup size goes up, if that makes sense! Have noticed a few other girls on here with same size implant & same stats that also measure the same or similar 🙂 Keep on being patient they will change so much 🙂 I didn’t really get measured properly until 3 months post op. I got measured in Boux Avenue & VS. Xx

What was your size in VS?

@lala111 in VS I measure 32DD. In Boux Avenue or anywhere I can get a small back it’s 30E. Oh I got measured in Ann Summers too, they don’t do small backs just start from 32s so again 32DD in there. Xx

Cant wait to get measured, I’ll probably go at my 5 weeks mark to ensure the measurment is close to accurate and not due to swelling or anything of that sort, I’ll go to M&S their bras are heavy duty and i need to wear one at least 12 hours a day for 6 months so I’ll save the VS for the after 6 months period they’ll be my summer treat.

Hey Hun, I’m booked in for surgery on January 15th. I’m 9 stone and currently a 32a, im going under the muscle teardrop and will either go 300cc or 340cc! As I’m quite boney on top my surgeon wanted to go under!x

I have my final consult next week so will be armed with better knowledge now but will listen to my Dr and go from there! Thank you again ladies ????

Hi Stephanie, I’ve just had 275 dual hp, when they “fluff” are they supposed to go bigger? I think il be a size D/DD. The highest I was offered was 300cc aswell. Do you think there would have been much difference having gone 300?
