6DPO Pain

Hi, I’m currently 6DPO and although I’m feeling okay within myself I tend to have this severe stabbing/stinging pain in my left breast with certain movements. From what I’ve read I think it might be something to do with the nerves? I have my post op appointment on Tuesday but I haven’t even been able to shower or have a shallow bath and I’m worried about not being able to before Tuesday. I keep hoping I’m going to wake up and feel fine.. has anyone else had this type of pain? Is there anything I can do between now and Tuesday to relieve it? The recovery is starting to get to me and I just want to feel more mobile. Mainly looking for reassurance I guess:) Appreciate any words of wisdom x

It’s completely normal hun it’s the nerves regenerating or that’s what I was told… it comes and goes but it’s healing so it’s a good thing! Xx

That’s a bit reassuring, thanks babe! Just honestly when the pain hits it’s reducing me to tears today. Probably just emosh as didn’t have a great nights sleep last night. But it’s crippling:( Good to hear from people that understand what this whole process is like lol xx

Im 10 days post op and I experienced that hun especially in one more than the other. Keep on top of ur pain medication and use ice pack i found that helped x

It’s totally understandable the 1st week you have so much to deal with and go through! I promise you though it gets better!

After a couple weeks I was waking up with a shooting pain through my incision scar that lasted for 2 or 3 seconds really painful then go for the rest of the day til the next morning was the weirdest thing and lasted 2 weeks but suddenly stopped and never had it since you go through the strangest sensations but it doesn’t last and you just gotta remember it’s a good thing when you get them cuz it means they’re doing exactly what they’re meant to be doing! Xx

Totally get that chick, I was reduced to tears a number of times over the first few weeks
