6DPO stabbing pain

I have had the worst nights sleep ever. I have a stabbing pain in my right boob and its absolutely killing! I think the stabbing is coming from where the drain was positioned. The incision on that side feels like it’s burning as well.

Do you think it could be where I’m trying to do to much with the arm? Obviously i can’t see the boob yet so I’m unsure if it’s bruised or anything. Just hope it’s not infected 🙁 xx

Hi Hannah I have the same issue with my right one, and last night I put a post up with a photo of real bad bruising under the ban adage and this is only just starting to come through the bandage and soreading upwards towards the nipple, I thought it was just the incision but with the bruising I now know why it’s been hurting so bad, you can’t really see anything either so it’s probably bruising as well as the incisions there!!! Going to ring the nurse AGAIN today and find out lol

Mines probably something similar to yours as we’re on roughly the same DPO aren’t we. I wish I could see to put my mind at rest, can’t wait for tomorrow! How’s yours looking today? Xx

Sounds like it’s your nerves starting to knit back together Hun I had the same thing around about same time and was my nerves starting back together I still get the odd twitch every now and then now and I’m nearly 12 post op xxx

I had this and got told it was nerves it’s so painful I hated it but it did pass and by 7-10 days was feeling loads better stay strong!

@josey thanks! Yes it is exactly where he put the drain, I had to be redressed as well. All my strapping comes off tomorrow and I’m sure il be bruised like hell on that side. Xx

Ahhhh you will be fine Hannah I’m sure you are over the worse of it now , my drain area has been so nasty I wasn’t prepared at all for the bruises but try to just focus on your new boobies , however bad it looks tomorrow it will heal . Good luck tommorow it’s so exciting xx

@hannah I’m doing good now Hun stil get a few aches every now and then but other then that I’m back to normal now see mr traynor on the 7th for my 12 week check up xxxx
