Hi Ladies. I’m looking to see if anyone is feeling the same as me or has been in the same position when it comes to feeling constantly nauseous? I’m 8DPO and I thought I’d be feeling ok by now but it seems to be that I’m going backwards rather than forwards. I have my appointment with my nurse tomorrow which I’m desperate for but I’m really struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel just now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

hiya I am 7 days p.o. from re- augmentation breast lift and pocket repair. my first surgery was a breeze honestly never felt sick wasn’t in that much pain at all. this time around I’ve had 7 continuous days of feeling sick it’s been awful I never took any pain pills at all so I know it isn’t that .the only thing that I thought it could be was my antibiotics so I stopped taking them 3 days ago I still feel sick but less so, are u still on yours and could it be that? I’ve got my 10 day check up with the nurse Friday so I’m going to mention it too them. if you’ve finished your antibiotics it could be they are still in your system, I know that mine had those side affects and my sister works in a pharmacy so she advised I stopped them straight away hope this helps x

Hi Charlie 🙂 Sounds like you’re having as bad a time as me. I had my appointment with the nurse today and told her about it, she said it’s possible it’s the ibuprofen that could be causing the sicky feelings. She told me to lessen my dosage so to take my first dose in the morning and then a dose before bed but if I’m still suffering the sick feelings, to call the hospital and they’d get in touch with my surgeon to see if there’s anything else they’d be able to give me. I’m having my moments but I’m making sure I’ve got plenty of water and trying to eat as often as I can. I hope you feel better soon. You can let me know how you get on x

I’m 3 days post op and I feel the same but I’ve been sick twice. It’s the worst feeling, feels like my stitches are tearing, I doubt they are but it’s just such a horrible burning sensation! 🙁 x

Natalie I also went too see my nurse today for my 10day check up, I explained too her that I hadn’t been too good the 2nd time around, she took off all my bandages and had a look and said that I’m severely swollen and bruised and that its probably the reason I’ve been so low, after my first ba I never felt like this but she had a look through my notes and said my surgeon did alot of work this time around too try and get them right for me so it’s probably why I’m feeling like cakka lol. she has made me another appointment for next week as my surgeon wants too see me regular too make sure that everything’s as it should be I’m that swollen this time round one of my boobs is almost square lol , on your ibroprofen Id avoid those while you recovering they thin the blood. hope u get better soon hun msg me if you wanna chat x

Jessica I know that feeling. That burning sensation is killer, it’s easier when it starts to wear off but my god is it uncomfortable! I was only really sick after my surgery but today is the first time I’ve not felt sick and managed to get through the day without a nap. Definitely getting there but it’s hard. Keep me updated to how you’re getting on 🙂 x
