    Hi everyone :),
I have spent so much time on this forum over around 6 months now, it really has been a massive help.
I thought i’d share my experience with you.
I have wanted to have surgery now for years and like most, I regret that I didn’t do it sooner.
I’m 5ft5 8stone4 32B size 6/8 quite petite. I like to keep fairly active cycling, running and weight training at the gym.
For years I’ve hated my boobs, when out clothes shopping I found so many restrictions on what I could’nt wear because I felt so conscious of my boobs. Always wore padded bra’ s. I Hated bikini shopping and felt so flat chested in swimwear.

I wanted them to look as natural as possible and suit my frame. My surgeon recco’ 350cc anatomical unders mod’ profile.

I had my Op Mon 19th Feb, I can honestly say I did underestimate how much pain i’d be in. The First 3 day’s was tough and the co-codamol made me feel even worse. Then by day 4 I felt 100% better. I stopped taking the co-codamol and just took paracetamol every 4 hours. I found sleeping on the sofa using a V neck pillow much easier than being in bed.

My surgeon has put a compression band on which I have to wear all the time for 4 weeks but he prefers no support/sports bra to be worn. Does feel slightly weird not wearing a bra but I’m getting used to it now.
I had my bandages removed at 1WPO and was allowed to shower, although still needing help to wash my hair as I can’t lift my arms that high yet. I’m blow drying my sutures using a hairdryer.
So far I’m so happy with the results and can’t wait to see how they fully settle once they ‘drop and fluff’. Also I can’t wait to get back to normal routine.

    I’ll attach pics:

    Thank Ellie.
They look fab Carrie. I bet you are so happy with them. I can’t wait to get measured.Do you have to wear a compression band and sports bra?
I’m still unsure how long I need to wait until I can raise my arms, is it 3 weeks? X

    Hi jenie
I have a yoga bra and band on. My m&s bra absolutely killed me on my stiches but I’m so much more comfortable. I can’t wait for them to stop and soften now but love them! Best thing I did in ages lol xx
