About before and after op experience!

I’m booked in on the 5th March and I’m worried that if I had sinners before this it will make my scars more visible, anyone been in this situation? Not sure if I should avoid them until after the operation and If I do should I wait for the scars to disappear completely?

After the operation, do you wake up in your own side room or is it shared? Also, how long do they expect you to stay in the hospital to repair? Do you wake up high like you see on those videos on Facebook? Because I’m so paranoid about what’s going to come out of my mouth haha!

Also, how’s the parking in London? I’ve been told there is no parking, any suggestions on where to park?

Hey, I had my op yesterday in Liverpool. I did have my own room.
I woke up in a recovery room, just me and the anethetist until I was properly awake. I just felt drowsy. They took me back to my room and I slept most of the time. After about 3 hours I was allowed to go home. Hope that helps ???? xx

Yes I am!! So nervous haha

Had my op at the Fitzroy yesterday. Recovery room was shared with a curtain between us. When I woke up I didn’t realise it had happened. I thought I was still waiting for the anaesthesia! I asked the nurse sat next to me why did my boobs feel tight already, she had to say because “you’ve just had your surgery!” Haha.
The nurses are lovely that I met. Everyone was very friendly. Dont be afraid to ask for another round of tea and toast too!! Dr Lutz wanted her patients to stay for 6 hours post op.
