Admission Time

My surgery is 1 week today (😁) and it says on my portal that my admission time will be available 48 hours before which will be on Sunday. Does anyone know if this will show earlier? Like on Friday maybe?

Hi, it won’t show earlier. It’s down to the hospital not MYA so it depends on how things are there. My op was on the Wednesday and I received mine early afternoon on the Monday after I emailed my PC to ask if she knew it.

Did the emailing the PC help getting your time earlier?

No I don’t think so. They just said it will be available 24-48 hours before. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was working days though.

My admission time is 7am, I drew the short straw here lol. Should be home by lunchtime though I bet

I would happily swap 😂. I’m now I’m at 13:30 tomorrow which means I’m won’t be home til 8pm maybe later.

Yeah 13.30 is tough as you’ll need to manage any nerves in the morning but at least it allows you time to get ready and travel – I’ll be tumbling out of bed and in to the taxi at 6am 😂

😂 I’m not nervous about the op, I’m nervous about it being cancelled again. Although I just got a call asking what I want to eat afterwards so yay! At least you won’t have time to worry too much chick.
