Your profile says your surgery was today? Bless you. Are you taking your codeine, paracetamol n ibuprofen? Keep up with pain relief. By day 3 you will feel better. Get some ice packs and a V pillow for comfortXx

    Hiya,

I am 15 days Po now and remember feeling the same…..I did not expect it to be as painful and feel so rough, thought I’d handle it well after two painful births but nope lol! My advice is take your pain killers religiously every 4 hours even at night, use ice packs for 20 mins a few times a day, take arnica for the next 10 days to help with swelling and bruising. V pillow and a neck cushion(got mine from the pound shop) were a life saver for sleeping. It will get better to be honest I didn’t find it as quick as some say I think it was a good 10 days before I felt a good improvement and it got me fed up as I expected to bounce back quickly but just rest, take your meds, drink as much fluid as you can and soon it’ll be a distant memory. Xx

Iv woke up today very tender but not as swollen. Sending my partner for ice packs as I have everything else. I watch videos where people we’re fine but day two. I honestly thought that would be me as I’m good when dealing with pain. @holiie @dazzelea

I remember that feeling first few days are the worst just get plenty of rest let your partner do everything for you and the kids and take your meds by the end of the first week you will start to feel better and the 2nd week you will be able to do alot more again but don’t push it! I’m day 17 and never though I’d feel this good this quick so it does get better sooner than you think, I can pretty much do everything but I’m still not picking my daughter up she is 4 so it’s not needed but she wants me to play lol but I am able to lift her off things if she’s stuck climbing on stuff haha just gotta take it steady
