Advice – left nipple hurting

Hi girls, I had my surgery a week ago and last night I had my dressing taken off and was told I can stop wearing my surgical bra at night.

Last night was probably my worst night sleep, i tried wearing my surgical bra still as it was my first night sleeping led down but the surgical bra is pressing on my insicions and it hurts so much.

Then in the middle of the night for some reason my left nipple started really hurting to the point where I couldn’t sleep, it was like a throbbing pain, has anyone had the same problem?

Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Hiya. Had my op on the 8th, got told to lay at 45 degree angle for 2 weeks and have my macom bras on night and day for 6 weeks. I did try and lay flatter for the 1st time last night but think my bodys got used to being more up right. I’m still fairly bruised on my left side, but it did have 25cc more! My nipples are a lot more sensitive than i thought they would be, heard loads about the numbness, although obviously we are all different. Have lots of rest today and maybe ring the clinic and get some advice!! Hope you feel better soon xx
