Hi girls, i have my op booked in for 13th sep and pre op on the 6th sep.. not with MYA. I am so bloody excited and so far have found this forum unbelievably helpful.

Few questions, what should i expect from a pre op assessment?? I have crohns disease so guessing they will check details of this and also take blood etc?
Im currently a 34B and having 375Cc overs. Although he did say he would take 350 375 and 400 in. Im having mixed thoughts about this size some peoples look massive and other not so big. I think as the days are getting closer im second guessing everything.
This may sound daft but i really dont want a large gap between them i would like a good clevage and not too far apart but natural has any of you girls found this isnt the case???
    Thanks in advance!!! Xx

I am booked for surgery 27th Setepmeber and currently measuring 35B too. My two friends who have BA have advised me to go for the 400CC as I was given the option of 357CC as well. They said once they settle and when your wearing a normal bra they were glad they went for the bigger CC. X

Hi kaya I have booked for 18th Oct and have colitis so expecting a mini flare up post the op. Have you spoken to consultant ‘re the meds you will get? I know the antibiotics / ibuprofen aren’t going to be pleasant but as the consultant said the short term side effects are worth the infection prevention. What advice have you been given?

I’m also stuck between 385cc and 415cc. Have you tried both on and taken photos wearing them? Do this when you have your pre op if not. I’m going to go for the 415 as I doubt I will want them smaller but could regret not going for the bigger ones!! I’m also going under for a more natural look. Are you thinking under or over?

So many decisions but so exciting too!!!

Hi vicky, yes im also expecting a flare up post op which im nervous about but will be worth it. Yes spoken to my consultant and IBD nurse both were fine with it to go ahead aslong as i was off the steriods before hand for a good few months. My BA consultant just advised that there was more of a risk me being on the immunosuppressants. But its a risk i have to take. What advice have you been given?

I have done the rice test plenty of times i hate the thought of wanting bigger afterwards i hear alot of girls feel like this. I am going overs didnt really get the choice my surgeon just advised me that which im happy with.

All i keep bloody thinking is im going to have a big gap between then if i dont go big enough because im tall… gahhh lol x

    Hi,

I would go for the biggest you can. I went for 375cc under the muscle. I was given the option of 325, 350 and 375. I’m 5 ft 3 weigh 9 stone and I was pretty much flat before. Xx

I’ve been off my meds since Jan last year as had a mega health kick from Jan 1st that lasted til Sept last year and my tummy was awesome as a result. This year it’s all gone wrong diet wise but tummy has remained stable although it’s definitely wrong weight wise lol diet starts tomorrow, literally!!! 46 days til my op and want to be in best physical shape possible ???? to cope afterwards with a potential flare up and response to the drugs we will be given. I’ve seen 2 consultants and both were relaxed about the procedure too it will be short term pain for long term gain. I’m booked in for 18th Oct please can you let me know how you get on and any tips you have for coping with the after op chrons “fun” would be very welcome!!! Xxx

Hey @kaya, would be really good to follow your journey. I’m also 34b, and was offered 350/375/400cc too. I liked the look of 350 but was reccomended 375 because they said you should always go for slightly larger than you think you will. I didn’t even try the 400 but i plan to go back and try all again to be sure.

What are your height/weight stats? I’m 5″7 and just under 11stone.

Agree its really hard to decide, a lot of the girls recommending the size are a lot smaller/shorter and my surgeon said taller girls carry them very differently.

    Who is your surgeon?

I went for 375 cc and apparently it does make them smaller because it’s tighter so go for the biggest cc you are offered. I’m beyond happy. My surgeon did a fantastic job xx
