Hi girls, I was on this forum so much before and after my surgery and loved how helpful this site was so thought I’d post an update! I had mine done in May last year, so I’m nearly a year post op and after a constant rollercoaster of emotions I’m super happy with my results and my emotions towards them!

My top photo is before (obviously!!)
Second photo is about 4 / 6 weeks (can’t remember!)
Third photo is yesterday so about 10 months later (ignore the shadows as they make them look like they’re different shapes but they’re perfectly symmetrical – Apart from 1 nipple which was cold!)

As you can see in the top photo it was my asymmetry I wanted fixed. I really wanted to have natural looking boobs and didn’t want to go too big because of this. It’s funny because my second photo is at 6 weeks (I think) and I honestly didn’t think that they’d changed from then and resigned the ‘drop and fluff’ process as a myth, but as you can see in the last photo they’ve changed heaps. You really don’t notice the drop and fluff when you’re looking at them every day!

They are super squishy and jiggle (Not as much as normal boobs but hey!) But I do still sleep in a bra and find it more comfortable to sleep with a pillow wedged between them when I’m on my side but I’m not sure if this is because it’s actually uncomfortable without or because it still feels weird for me to have boobs! I’ve almost got the feeling back from under my nipples, that part remained numb for ages and I only recently started getting the feeling back there. My nipples took their time too and they don’t feel the same as they did before, it’s hard to describe, they’re still sensitive but in a different kind of way. I preferred how they felt before but I can still very much enjoy them being enjoyed (Haha) and it’s a small price to pay, plus you never know they may come back to me yet!

Every now and again I still get a slight pain twinge but other then that they feel like boobs and I feel like they are completely a part of me.

Emotionally I was suprised with how all over the place I was with getting them done! Considering how much I hated them before and how long I wanted them done for, I still had massive ups and downs with them after. I think what helped the most was knowing that feeling like that was to be expected so I didn’t beat myself up too much or obsess as much as I would have (which is practically impossible – I still think about them at least 25000 times a day!) I had to stop looking at other people’s results (which was so hard) and I tried my best to forget about having them done so I would stop comparing and wishing “shoulda woulda couldas” as it’s awful, especially when you’re looking at them every day! It means you have a nice surprise when you look in the mirror one day and you’re shocked at the way they look and how happy you are with them! Even when I took that last photo I’m super super shocked with how different they look, I honestly didn’t even notice!

If I could do it all over again the only thing I think I would have done differently would be to be more clear and decisive on what a wanted. My surgeon was great and gave me exactly what I asked for, however, I’m quite shy and spent the majority of my recovery stressing over why I didn’t say this and why I didn’t ask him that etc. I was lucky and it all turned out well but if there’s ever a time to be shy, being with your surgeon isn’t one of them!! Make sure you speak up and take a list of questions and ask why they’re suggesting what they’re suggesting so you understand more. I would have saved a lot of stress during my recovery if I did that! Also boob greed is an incredibly real thing, I spent most of my time saying I didn’t want big boobs and I only wanted natural ones but after the surgery and becoming boob obsessed afterwards even I ended up thinking I wanted big big big ones! Those of you who are given choices between 25cc’s (like 300cc or 325cc) go for the bigger one, the difference is minimal but mentally you’d be happier after knowing you got the biggest you could, regret can be awful, and never has anyone I’ve known regretted going bigger, only smaller!

Getting my boobs done is one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am thrilled with my results, I have the perfect size for what I wanted, they fit my frame and I get a get a wow factor when I get them out too!

Hope this helps anyone, I’m happy to answer any questions as I know how much i appreciated other girls on here! Xx

Thanks for sharing, just what I needed to hear being 5days post op… You’re so right about it being an emotional rollercoaster! Did you notice a massive difference between results your first week after surgery up until your second photo around 6weeks? X

They look perfect! I’m only 4 weeks po and it’s already been a love hate relationship for me. I don’t think it helps when you do keep comparing yourself to other girls so I’m trying to love what I’ve got and not pick faults. When did the drop and fluff happen for you? Mine already feel like they’re starting to drop and soften but I’m worried if they drop loads they might look saggy! x

Hi – you look great. Could you please tell me your height, original back size and what volume implants did you opt for?
    Thx

Wow Felicity ?. They look amazing. You must be so pleased hun. Thanks so much for your in depth post. It’s really helpful reading. I’m 6 days post op , I was a 36 A/ Half empty B and I’ve had 400cc overs. Mine feel so small right now but when I look at everyone who have had 400 I’m shocked how big they look! I’m hoping mine will fill out more soon.
Boob greed is in full effect ?

Hi Ashlee! Congratulations on your op! There was a big difference between getting them done and my second photo, they had softened visually and had rounded out a lot, I thought they were done at that point and that was what my end results were! There’s lots of change that happens but you really don’t notice it happening so make sure you take weekly photos for reference! Good luck with your recovery hun! Xx

Hi Tor Shields! It’s so hard to say about the drop and fluff, I think it just continually happened gradually, I know some girls say that their drop and fluff was over night but mine fully sneaked up on me! Don’t worry about them looking saggy, I think we’re quite lucky with having implants as I havent seen a saggy looking pair yet, I was terrified mine were going to be like that too as my surgeon lowered my breast crease so I thought they were going to hang round by my elbows! I think the projection in the implant stops them from looking ‘sterotypically’ saggy, the dropping is more it settling then actually lowering your boobs… i think that makes sense! I’m sure your going to end up with a great pair!! The 4 week point was were I hated mine the most I think so hang in there, you’ll look great!

    @Dinky
I am 5’9, back size 30/32 and I got 375 and 400cc, I was originally a A cup on one side and an empty B cup on the other. Those size cc normally look huge on most girls but I think with my height they look quite natural instead! Hope that helps, it’s so true though that all sizes look different on everyone though!

@Victoria Xxxx thank you hun! I know it’s a bit of an essay so im glad if it was a bit useful! I had partials, no particular reason as it was just what my surgeon suggested. I hate how mine separate when I go to the gym now though so overs are a great choice! I’m sure you’ll get great results, I hope your recovery is going well! Xx

@felicity50 Yeah my surgeon said overs for me so like you I just agreed. I’d assume they always know best. I was a bit confused by the whole under/over/hour/moderate thing. I couldn’t tell the difference in photos ?. I’m 10 days post op today and am soooo wonky. My right one the implant is fully in and it’s fuller and lower but my left is still as high as day 1 and it’s really bothering me ?. My left breast has softened at the bottom and it looks like my old little A boob is just hanging from a boulder, it really isn’t pretty ?. I’m actually beginning to worry as I keep getting a stinging pain at the bottom of the implant (cleavage side) where it can’t go any further down. I keep worrying the pocket isn’t big enough or something. I’m giving it until my 2 week day on Tuesday and I’m going to ring them. I’m sure it should have moved by now x
