Hi ladies. I’m booked in for 30th June and I’m so excited about having my new boobs. The only thing I’m petrified about is the anaesthetic. I’ve never had an anaesthetic before and I’m so so scared I dont know what to expect. My surgeon said it’s just like going in to a deep sleep. Any advice on how to calm my nerves. Thank you!!! Xx

Hey Natalie, I had surgery on Saturday and was the exact same as you! But it’s the easiest thing you’ll ever do! They walk you into the surgery room and then put the canular in your hand, I was really nervous and wouldn’t lay down at the start so they gave me something to calm my nerves and then I felt great, laid on the bed and they were brilliant, told me everything that was happening and then next thing I remember is waking up and being really comfortable and sleepy! But it’s so so easy and over before you know it, good luck!! Xxx

Thank you both. I know it sounds really silly but for someone who never even takes paracetamol to then have to go through anaesthetic it’s scary Haha. Hope your recovering well 🙂
