So I had a csll today saying that i can no longer have my opp on 10th oct. Im so so disappointed. Trains r booked and hotels are booked. Had stay 2 nights at im 2.5 hours away feom london. My friend had booked time off work to come with me. Its been moved to 12th so i might sound pathetic but i now need to take my fiance with me who is self employed meaning the opp is now costing an extra £630 due to him missing work ????. Not good considering ive paid in full to then be told that cancelling with a refund isnt an option. Feel like ive been cheated x

That’s terrible! Why is this? Who is your surgeon? X

Have you told them how much of an inconvenience it’s causing and the more money it’s costing? Hopefully they will reimburse the extra cost? The hotel might be willing to swap dates for you but i bet trains are a different matter ☹️ Hope it gets sorted! Xx

Mine was moved forward a day. I was given a weeks notice. My holiday is rostered a year in advance – I can’t just ‘book’ a day off.
I pulled a few strings and got the day off, also I had to cancel hotel – luckily booked with free cancellation.
Got driven home in the end.
I’m really pleased with my result and happy with the surgeon ( was Ms Lutz again ) glad it’s done.
I was told they didn’t have an anaesthetist, when I mentioned this at Fitzroy the nurses thought it strange.
