How soon did you get back to running? Miss Lutzsaid I could probably start between 3-4 weeks post op, but I feel this is a bit ambitious. I’m training for a half marathon (I won’t tell you how stupidly close I’ve booked it to surgery)

Hi Rebecca, I’m a runner and was told to wait six weeks minimum and then wear at least two very supportive sports bras. I am 9WPO now and am still finding running a bit odd. I have been wearing two really good sports bras, the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run and M and S high impact on top of that. I can’t get used to the bounce! They arnt moving a lot but I can feel it and obviously never had this before. I have been limiting my training because I’m scared of my implants dropping too low whilst the pockets are healing. I have been so happy with my new boobs I don’t want to do anything that may affect them! I really don’t think you will be at peak fitness ten weeks after, but if you are quite happy to take it a bit easier and not worry about a new PB I’m sure you will be fine xx

@melaniew ah that’s encouraging. No I won’t be going for a pb, but I’ll be happy to just finish it! I really didn’t think it through! Thanks for your reply xx
