I have a meternaty pillow and lots of pillows and cushions and blankets to prop me but it’s still so uncomfy I don’t want to take pain killers as my little boy still gets up in the night and I’m scared they will nock me out and I won’t hear him any advice?

Hi Girls, i am now 3 weeks post op and my first 2 weeks i suffered with horrendous back pain, all due to sleeping upright. No amount of v pillows would correct the pain in my back or numb bum. I bought DEEP HEAT EXTREME. and got my sister to cover my back in it and it worked wonders and i managed to sleep much better and cope with the pain. ( please note, do not take deep heat along side ibuprofen though)

THE worst. I went back to work on Monday I’m now 16dpo and I still am suffering from the after effects of it and couldn’t go into work today I was so exhausted from it. I went to see a physio last night and she said a lot of it is compacted from just not moving. When you feel able try doing gentle body twists, the side bend where u keep your body upright and try to touch the floor. Lay on your back knees up to 90 degrees and let them drop all the way to the left then to the right. Keep twisting your neck gently, turning left to right etc. It has actually been helping. Obviously avoid any movements that could hurt your chest but try to get a bit of movement back. Also ice or use heat to eliviate pain. We’ll all get there x
