Anyone elses PC not replying after op?

Hi everyone so I am 17 days post op and before my op whenever I would message my PC questions I had she would always reply within a day or so and now that I have had my op I am not sure if they are just ignoring me as I have sent a few messages and had no replies and it has been about a week? just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Not my pc as such but the manager of my clinic was supposed to ring me about a complaint i made and she hasnt…coz theyve got the money now they are not botgered. Although im sure with a complaint they are legally bound to respond but still nothing…shows the kind of company we are trusting our bodies with! X

I used the Newcastle clinic and can’t fault them. My pc Julie rang me the day before surgery and 2 days after to see how I was. The nurse Louise also rang me the day after surgery to check on me which I thought was really nice x

I asked a few similar questions like this last week on here as I too hadn’t heard anything then when I was 7dpo I got a text off mine as she had heard id wrote something on here about it. So if the moderator is looking at yours then I’m sure it won’t be long till you get contacted x

Mine has been fine. Always slow at responding, but get a response eventually. Xxx

I was the same I hadn’t heard of mine then I wrote something on here asking if anyone else’s pc had done the same then had a text come through asking if I was ok etc ha also I commented on Mya’s instagram post the other day asking about before and after photos and messaged them once again asking for them after 3 ignored messages and got a reply straight away so much be looking on there too hah!

It shouldn’t take us to post on here saying we haven’t heard from them to contact us. I know they just have plenty of people to keep on top of and text and check up on but it’s there job right. X

Thank you all for replies I was hoping it wasn’t just me haha, I know it definitely shouldn’t take take having to post for them to reply, I understand they could be busy but they were great before the surgery and I always got a reply but seems now I have had it they aren’t bothering not heard off of them since my surgery and no replies to text messages.. guess I might get a reply now after posting this haha thank you all for replies x

Hi everything is sorted. I just got a call from my clinic in Manchester they saw my post and just said they don’t want to think they are leaving me etc. as they try to prioritise texts and my pc I actually on holiday. I was a bit relieved haha just worried after paying that they might not want to bother anymore, thank you all for replies and my pc is Allison she has been great and helpful but I just got worried that they were purposely not replying but they rang and explained that this wasn’t the case :)) x

That’s why I asked as was going say if it was Alison then she son holiday. Glad you got it sorted xx

I’m at the Nottingham clinic and my pc is Laura and I cannot fault her at all! She’s always been on the end of the phone whenever I’ve had questions and after my op too! I rang this morning with a worry and within 20 minutes she had called me back xx

Im in the manchester clinic too think maybe its just this one that are useless…still if someones on holiday it shouldnt mean people are ignored for 2 weeks. In my job if i go on holiday then i put an out of office reply on so people know when im back and who to contact instead and also forward my enquiries to a colleague to deal with x

I went through the Nottingham clinic, soon as they had my £££ communication was shocking!! I’ve sent 2 emails to both the receptionist and my old pc requesting my before and after pictures and have not had a single response! I’m looking for more surgery and would honestly look for a different company due to the lack in communication. Xx

Haven’t heard from my PC since she took the money. Not even a good luck text on the day, or how am I getting on. When I see my nurse Friday il be asking for her contact details to get my before/after pictures as my PC is useless. Xx

Hannah – this worries me, i have only paid my deposit so far, but why don’t people understand the aftercare is more important than anything ., the aftercare is what gets MYA recommended ( or not) everyone always asks about the aftercare. its an expensive and daunting time for most women having this done, knowing u have someone on hand is so important. i have heard of other companies, calling the girls on the day wishing them luck , and texting a few days after to see how they are. This can make so much difference to someone recommending a SERVICE. If it was my company i would want everyone to know how fantastic we were and make sure all the staff go above and beyond to make all patients feel at ease and looked after.

@HANNAH did you message on my topic? It’s obviously been deleted and my pc has text me saying she sent me my pictures but I haven’t received them! Xx

@kellyhalse I know, you’d think aftercare would be top of their priorities! As I don’t know if I would recommend them, but I would recommended my surgeon. I cannot fault my nurse though, she’s wonderful and when I was in pain 3DPO and phoned her she advised me on what to do, so I can’t fault that. But as far as the PC service goes, it is shocking. Xx

I never heard anything off my PC, when I’ve been to see the nurse she has been there she has never acknowledged me!

My PC is Lauren at the Manchester Clinic and I cannot praise her enough she has been fantastic! Always responds to my texts and if she is unavailable someone else has responded in her absence. She always reassured me and was patient and understanding with personal issues I had. She wished me luck for my Op and she phoned me after my Op to check all went ok.. She is lovely and made my experience a memorable one xxx

My pc from the Manchester clinic was pretty crap to! Never heard a thing once she’d took my money! The nurse was lovely but then she left and I had a different one each time, good job the surgeons are so good! Ha xx

Cant say i was too impressed with my PC in London… once the money had been paid hardly heard from her. Even when i requested for her to all me it would take her days to respond. I am now just over 1 week PO and not heard a thing since a week prior to the op… x

I don’t even know if i have a pc at the moment has mine has been off work for a few months so I’m not sure who I’m meant to contact or what 🙁 That’s through the Birmingham clinic. But you’re right- before i paid for my op i got so many phone calls then hardly anything- I’m now 15 days post op. xx
