Anyone had a 3pm admission time (day case)?

So my op is tomorrow, I’ve been given a 3pm admission time, which at first I was a bit gutted about… but now i’ve realized I can still get up, have a cuppa or 2, and a decent breakfast before going nil by mouth, i’m ok with it.
However! I’m a bit worried about how late i’m going to get discharged as I have a 2 hour drive back home after. Anyone on here had a 3pm admission time and could let me know how long they had before going down/ what time they were discharged??

Hiya Gemma my admission time was 2 and was told I was the last of the day was took to surgery at half 5 and left about half 9/10 x

Thanks Leah, i’ve just had a call to say it’s been pushed back till 4…hopefully that just means I won’t have much waiting around. The nerves are really kicking in now xxx

My admission was 4pm day case and I was on my way home at 10 xx

@cellis17 Hiya im good thanks, struggled abit day 2-4 and after that has been a breeze for me really, how has your recovery been hun? Bet you can’t wait to get measured just under 3 weeks! Xx

@gemmyb at least you can eat later haha I think I was only down that late because my train broke down on the way and I thought I wouldn’t make it by 2 so I rang them and think I got pushed to last haha. Good luck with your surgery hun I had the same surgeon he’s fantastic xx

Having a 4pm time turned out great! I was down by 4.40, out of surgery and awake in 2 hours. Discharged at 9pm!
The day flew by, in a bit of pain now, but so worth it! xxx

@leahxxx Ohhh mine was really hard i had troubles with my left one that had re-open ,clean and drain it Soo basically start again with everything anestetich ,constipation,sick ,pain not really Good Soo far but tryng to be possitive .i am glad you are ok xx all the best x
