Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had a boob job before the 6months recommendation after breast feeding.

I am back to my prepregnacy weight and smaller chest size, and haven’t been able to get any milk out since after 6weeks from stopping. Online it says anywhere between 3-6months it takes to get back to normal but longer for others.

Just wondering if anyone was the same as me and had no more milk production so went ahead early. And what the outcome was, I was worried incase of infection or further shrinkage afterwards.

Any experiences would be much appreciated. Thankyou 🙂

I stopped breastfeeding 6mo before I had my surgery 6wks ago and had no issues what so ever. They haven’t leaked or hurt or caused me any issues. I had no boobs anyway (literally just nipple) and after I stopped feeding they almost looked like teeny tiny ski slopes and were so empty feeling and looking at the top. Now they look fantastic. My PC said I did really well with feeding and I had no sagging from it so that’s always good to hear! Hope that helps hun xx

Thankyou for the response. I go back to work the date it would be 6months so just hoping that a month won’t make much difference. As I really want them done before I go back.

Some places will see me now it’s been 3months. But others won’t see me until the full 6months. Was hoping I could fib a month off and it be fine as I have no milk left just hoping ducts have gone down too.

Not quite the same situation as yours but I can still squeeze milk out of my boobs after stopping breastfeeding for over a year. So my boobs are not completely dry but surgeon was not concern about it and I am now 8 dpo.
