Anyone had their op in Leeds?

I want to have my op in Leeds, has anyone been and can you name a good surgeon? Are you allowed to ask for a certain surgeon? Thanks x

You don’t have your op in Leeds I don’t think, the clinic is in Leeds that’s the one I go to. But the hospital where you have the op is in Manchester, I’m having mine at pall mall 1 hour away from me. My surgeon is Mahdi, I really like him so far and had my pre op with the nurse yesterday and she said if she had a BA and could pick a surgeon she’d pick him. You can pick surgeons but they all have different styles and availability so it depends on when you want your op too. X

Aah right so I would have my consultation in Leeds but then have to go to Manchester is that right? When is your op booked for? X

Yeah that’s right! The consultations are in Leeds pre op and post op but the surgery itself is in manchester, there’s 2 hospitals in and just outside of Manchester and I’m going to pall mall newton le willows. I’m booked for 15th December x

I’m at the leeds clinic but you’ll have to have your op in Manchester and your appointments in Leeds xxx

I had my consultations in Leeds and op at First Trust in Preston! Couldn’t speak more highly I felt looked after from start to finish 🙂 x
