Anyone having or had anatomical (teardrop)

Hey. Has anyone had or having anatomical BA? I was recommended anatomical by my surgeon, he told me that they have a more natural appearance, and that I didn’t have enough tissue for round. However reading on here many people say they have been told the opposite… that they were advised round due to the same reason. As yet I haven’t actually came across anyone having anatomical BA. currently size 32B, booked in for 335cc anatomical under. Stressing this is too big and if anatomical will they be droopy? Help xx

Hi Kate, I’m booked in for 300cc anatomical implants for the same reason. I told my surgeon I wanted to look as natural as possible & he said due to the lack of upper pole fullness if I had rounds they would look more stuck on. I struggled to find other girls having them so Googled before & after photos. Majority I found were in America but they look so so nice. Hope that helps :)xx

Thanks Tiffany. I have googled pros and cons too. I still feel like its the right thing for me, but it worries me that no one else seems to be having them and wonder why that is. When are you booked in for surgery? Are yours also under? Have you heard that you lose a bit of the volume if under? I am stressing 335cc is too big for my frame? xx

I’m having unders on the 13th November 🙂 believe me I’ve been really worrying about them being too big. My surgeon advised the size after measuring me up & saying what would fit better. He’s also told me to buy a 34D sport bra for after the op (one size bigger in the back size to accommodate swelling) so I’m guessing that’s what he is thinking I’ll be. I’ve been worrying for so long that the size is too big after seeing other results, but I’ve made my piece with the fact we are all different even if our stats are the same & the surgeons know best!
Did you try the sizers on to see what it looked like?? Xxx

Yes I tried them. I felt they were too big to be honest, but I had a friend and relative in with me who both said there was very little difference from what I already look like. I am a 32b but wear ultra padded bras that take me up a couple of sizes. The surgeon tried 310, 335 and 350cc. I said we’ll go for 310cc, but surgeon highly recommended I opt for at least 335cc. He thinks that looked more natural albeit bigger and really stressed that most people who are initially unsure that go for smaller option, regret it. He said its obviously my decision and makes no difference to him ultimately…. just this is his recommendation. I am soooo worried I’ll live to regret it. xx

I was exactly the same! I tried 275 & 300 & thought the 275 was quite underwhelming but felt the 300 looked huge! My partner said he preferred the 275 but I thought the implant will look smaller inside my body then put inside a bra on top of my boobs. What size are you hoping to achieve? Xx

Realistically I went in with a full C cup in mind. But once measured the surgeon said I was between sizes and could well be 30/32 b/c. He basically told me that the rule of thumb usually is if you drop a back size, you will go up a cup size. So in effect a 32b is very similar sizing to a 30c. I said I want to be 2 sizes bigger then (which is what I look like in my ultra padded bras). They say 150cc is a cup size equivalent. Hence him getting me to try 310, and 335cc. I have read you lose a bit when going under muscle.. no idea if this is true. So technically I could end up at a 32dd max I hope. This still seems huge to me though. They do say that the look achieved won’t be as big as when trying the sizers as you are essentially ‘stacking’ on top of what you already have. xx

I used to work in a lingerie shop so he’s right when he says go down in the back & up in the cup so I’m saying that at a 32D (goal) I will be the average 34C 🙂
I’m not overly hung up on the cup size mainly because I’ve been told that implants measure bigger than actual boobs so as long as they look good I’m happy. I just don’t want to be too big that pretty bras are a struggle to find haha xx

Yea I agree about bras! I think it might be hard to find 30DD bras, even 32D might be a push. My surgeon says I am too hung up on the actual numbers and letters and should focus on the appearance. Obviously I know he right. I just read the post earlier that you commented on about the lady who hates hers! This terrifies me. I am getting it done in October. I am wayyyy to chicken to post pictures but I can privately message you after. Mine will be a month old by the time you have yours done. x

I had teardrop 280cc overs in Feb. I went from a 32b to a 32dd/e but would say that I just have more fullness and look a bit bigger than I did in my ultra padded bras. My surgeon(not MYA) wouldn’t let me go bigger as he thought I would have rippling. I would listen to and trust your surgeon. That size sounds about right as I think you lose 50cc going under the muscle.

Hi, I did comment yesterday but apparently my comment was removed as it didn’t comply with forum guidelines! Oops! I am also having anatomical implants in Dec. I am having 10 year old round 230cc implants removed and going for 410cc anatomical. I’ve never liked the size of my current implants and felt they were a lot smaller than I wanted. Although 410 sounded huge at first. After reading posts on here and looking at pictures I now understand that every size implant is different on each body! Xx

Hi I posted yesterday but it has been removed aswell. I have anatomical implants and now 8 months post op. Was a small 34b and now I measure 34c/d depending on the bra. I had 310cc overs high profile used to wear a 2 sizes bra and wanted to look like that without one which I achevied and very happy with. Sorry i did post picture yesterday but been removed so you could get an idea of size. I hope all of you achieve the look that you want best thing I have done. X

Jenny- would you be happy to message me the picture? It’s hard trying to find posts and photos of anatomical implants isn’t it. My original implants took me from a 32A to a full 32C, some bras I would need a 32D but now after having 2 children I can barely fill a 34B bra! It’s quite depressing lol. I don’t remember how long the pain lasted ans it was such a long time ago, how did you find it? I work in a school with small children so I am always sat on the floor playing and carrying equipment and toys around. Hence me going for xmas so that I have a full 2 weeks at home it recover! X

I’m an empty 34b and having teardrop 350 unders but also a bit worried I feel they will be too big ekkkk. I’ve got quite a wide frame though. Am 5.4 but weight 11 stone.

I feel a tad better knowing there is a few of us getting this type. My surgeon said it’s definitely the most natural in terms of appearance. Still scared 335cc is massive mind! When are you all going in? Mines October xx

I feel like I’m going to come out looking like Jordan now!! Hearing your all having smaller cc than me ha ha. I’m in on 21st Dec which is the day my school break up from xmas! I also have 2 small children, so hubby has booked the same 2 weeks off over xmas! A little nearer the time I will buy a few button down tops to wear, also going to order the Macom i bra and her the Asda or M&S high impact zip up sports bra. First time round there weren’t any about so I had a normal sports bra. My god trying to lift my arms to get it over my head was horrendous!! Would be really nice if we could all stay in touch seeing as though we are of a very small minority having anatomical!! 🙂

I was talking to my friend about implants last night & she knows a few ladies with them & said the teardrop results were her preferred ones because of how natural they look early on xx

I was going with either 350-375cc. Breast feeding two kids has played havoc with my now empty bags of skin that I used to call boobs!
