    Hi all,
My name is katie and i am 20 years old and i cant even begin to tell you how badly ive wanted the breast enlargement procedure done. My heart is set on it. It started in may 2018, i met my consultant, and then went onto meeting my surgeon, and at that point i lost it. I started crying non stop because i was so embarrassed about my breasts, and i just couldnt bring myself to undress, so i was advised to get help from my GP and return when things started to look up for my mental health.
Im so sorry if this is along post, i just wanted to be heard and, to know if anyone else was feeling like i did. or still do. I would very much appreciate any advice, and kind words of encouragement. I cant stress enough how ashamed of my body i am, i feel like im not normal, because other girls my age can go out in cute clothes and show off thier confidence, because they have developed normally, but i havent. I dont go out clubbing or anything, at all, ive tried push up bras and maximising bras and still i cant cope. Ive tried so much, creams and lotions, and bra fillers and such but i want the real thing, to feel feminine, and sexy, and not ashamed. I am flat chested, i dont fit into a 36a or a 32a bra. i wear brallets, and feel like a 9 year old. Its taken alot for me to admit all this. I shower with a bralette on, i cant stand to look at myself. In the past i have self harmed over the fact that im not like other girls. its hard.
But, i have given the leeds clinic another call and said i am ready. They have advised i get a psychological report and a supportive letter from my GP. and then do i meet my consultant and surgeon again? what happens next?
has anyone else had to do this?
also, i am sorry for any rather triggering content. i wanted to express my honesty, and maybe be at peace, knowing someone else has been through this. – all my love to you girls! – katie x

Oh hun I am so sorry you feel that way! Honnie the main thing to remember is that you are not alone! There are million of women who are absolutely flat chested! Including me (before my surgery last week) and I used to be so ashamed about it but then I saw so many beautiful girl have absolute zero and posting photos online without any shame (i mean i could never post photos like this but i helped me to see them). There are so many in the same boat, so many girls understand your pain.
The good thing is, it can all be changed! 🙂 I dreamed about getting surgery for 15 years, and only finally did it last friday.. Everything is possible! 🙂

Hope you get your boobs so soon! x

Katie I too am really sorry that you feel this way. There’s so many girls out there that feel the exact same, I too hated the boobs I had before I had surgery 3 weeks ago. I really hope your gp supports you with the procedure and is able to provide you with a report to enable you to get that one step closer to having the boobs you desire. Wishing you lots of luck xxx

All I can say is that I also spent years hating myself and my body, it is difficult to show your surgeon but just really try to focus on and remember they have seen this thousands of times before and it’s just part of their job. That part will honestly be over so quickly. My surgeon took one look and a couple of very quick measurements and made a suggestion of size implant literally in a minute. I’m 24 and can’t believe I waited so long to have the surgery after debating it for years – best thing I ever did! Wishing you the best of luck with it all xxx

Oh hunnie… I feel so sorry for your state ?
But as girls say, you are not alone.
I’ve dreamed abt having nice and big boobs since ages. I would never let anyone to see me without the bra and when it came to the point to stand naked in front of the surgeon, I didn’t feel comfortable at all but was rather focused on a reason why I’m doing it than on the fact that I’m topless.

Another thing I was going to ask. You mentioned that you’re ready to go for it now but have you had anything done towards your previous state? Counselling for example? I’m asking because if you’re still in the same place, when it comes to stand in front of the surgeon, it’ll be the same as before…
I really wish you all the best and the strength to go for it because it changes life. But first make sure that you’re really really ready. You need to be strong as straight after the op when you’re in pain, swollen and your boobs don’t look as nice as you wished, you may suddenly find yourself low or depressed again which wouldn’t help for sure.
Hunnie fingers crossed and I really hope you’re okay now and can bravely make such important decision and stick to it xx

Aw sorry you feel that way, im 20 too and was super flat I genuinely looked like an 8 year old boy, tried all sorts of creams and diets etc to improve growth and nothing worked, rarely had sex without a bra on cause i was so embarrassed. Your surgeon sees all sorts of boobs everyday and they’re very professional, like Emily said its a couple of measurements and you’re done, im sure they’ve seen plenty worse! Hope you feel better soon x

Awww!! i totally understand where you are coming from, I have really bad anxiety and was so uncomfortable stood infront of the surgeon but i just did it anyway because of how much i want them done, you just need to think how many boobs that surgeon has seen in his life time! it’s just a job to them and they will not be thinking into it whatsoever – they will of seen a lot worse than yours thats for sure, its over so quickly aswell, all you need to do then is try on the sizers which is also over very quickly! after you’ve done it you will feel so proud of yourself and wonder why you was so worried! xx
