BA Date booked! Day stay.. & Fitzroy London.

Hi all,
Have my date booked for my BA so excited, getting a little impatient already now I know it’s full steam ahead. My ba is June 20th I’m only a day stay..my surgeon will be my lutz 🙂 only heard good things about her! I will be going to London Fitzroy so if anyone could let me know how they found their day stay? What they brought with them? How they felt once they got home? Much appreciated 🙂 and anything else I may need to know. Super excited!!

Ah congratulations for booking hun so excited for you.

I am currently in fitzroy London now was operated on by Ms Lutz 11am this morning.

I have only good things to say about her, I am So happy with my choice in surgeon and found her lovely.
I am also a day case, however as had under the muscle will have to stay till 8pm and also stay in a local hotel ( I also stayed last night as am 2 hrs away)
I did bring with me pj’s and toiletries etc just in case had to stay overnight as suppose u never quite know.
You do have a teli in ur room and WiFi but you may want to bring books, tablet etc.
I brought drinks and sugary snacks which I’m pleased for as have felt light headed on and off and these instantly picked me back up.
They provided the gown dressing gown and slippers.

Ah how exciting I’m booked the day after June 21st seems ages away I hope it flys by I’m sooo impatient now too! xxx

I’ve booked a hotel the night before as I’m also around 2 hours away, but I assumed that once they said I could go home it was okay to go home I do prefer my own home comforts though. I will be having under the muscle also & was told it would take longer to heal so I’m exsure expecting the worst of worst pain. Did you take anything before for bruising and swelling?? Aaaah can’t wait, made me feel even better 🙂 🙂 x

It does, I’m trying to keep busy with work and although I have a few more consultations with nurse ect.. just that feeling of knowing it’s happening I feel I’ve waited forever already lol. Browsing for new dresses ect.. x

I started taking arnica tablets about 3 days pre op and will continue taking it for a week post op. I have no bruising come up so far but not sure if down to the tablets or just lucky xx
