Bathing/showering before surgery??

Hiya, this might sound like a silly question!! I’m having my op on 24th April and I was just wondering about having a bath on the evening before or morning of the op, is this ok?? I’ve read that you can only wash with water?

Hello it’s my op day today and I bathed last night and washed my hair as normal and washed with soap.. you can’t use deodarent or moisturiser though xx

I had a shower the morning of my op, but was told to only use water by the nurse. So I just washed my face with my normal scrub, but didn’t use anything on my body xx

Yes this is what I thought, I just worry because I imagine it will be quite difficult to have a good wash for a week after the surgery Xx

It is SOOOO hard to wash for ages! I could finally shower at 12 days post op and it was heaven haha xx
