Hi, I had my op yesterday, has anyone got any ideas to sleep comfortably? I slept on my back bit sitting up a little bit but it was really uncomfortable. Thank you xx

I found a v pillow on top of 3 normal pillows was good, plus one under bum to support my back a little. It will get easier, to be honest the first few nights I slept on my recliner sofa!

Basically it’s crap and any solutions are also crap lol sorry. V pillow is essential though and first few nights I actually slept propped up in the corner of the sofa. Sleeping is so hard those first few nights/week. Just do what you can to get comfy you’ll get there! Also congrats on the new boobies be kind to yourself and rest up.

For the first 2 weeks I slept in my recliner chair or in bed but sitting down 90 degrees with lots of pillows behind my back and neck to support me in that 90 degrees position, then i moved to sleeping on my back because before that i would suffocate from my chest pressure but everyone is different when it comes to that, my doctor told me i can sleep on my side from week 1 but i am now 4wpo and i still dont feel comfortable at all sleeping on my side. Your body will guide you to the comfortable position it just takes a few trials, you’re ok to sleep in whatever position you like as long as it’s not on your abdomen
