    I would go into detail from the beginning but there would not be enough space to write this.
    I had my first surgery done in august 2016 and although a little rushed I loved the results. I had Dr Frati and found him incredibly rude and felt like I was just another number but I was willing to over look this.

    I developed an infection in my right breast scar a few days after surgery (the scar was quite bad in this one) where I was given expensive antibiotics and painkillers and it went away, however, that breast was very swollen and felt a bit fluid filled but I didn’t know any better and I was just told it was normal!!!

    A few months after this my right breast was quite hard and painful, I made an appointment to come back and get this checked and I was told very bluntly that I had capsular contracture and I may have to have the implant removed – I left in tears and made to feel like it was my fault. He said he would try to give me tablets to help this but the tablets he prescribed were discontinued, I went to so many pharmacy’s and called MYA so many times as dr Frati wouldn’t believe me. After about a month of stress and trying to find somewhere Frati finally write me another prescription and I got this.

    It didn’t work.

    Through many complaints and attempts to book another appointment I finally got to see dr Frati again where he actually did re-do the surgery in January 2018 for the right breast.

    After this the aftercare was so poor and I was left feeling complete alone. I kept trying to make an appointment and was being told they had none for months. My capsule was developing again. I then got an appointment to see him where the waiting room was filled with girls who were experiencing the same upset and issues that I was if not worse!!!

    Dr Frati then left and I was given another dr (name which I cannot remember) but I have to say he was lovely but the communication from the clinic still let this down. He told me I may have to have them removed but to try the tablets again first. After having the same issues again after about 3 weeks of trying to get this sorted out I finally got them and they were making it better!!

    I was then getting low on tablets so have tried to message my PC and call to get more but no answer. I have now completely given up as they haven’t even called to see how it went or if they were helping!!

    After care very poor and in future I will go somewhere else. I’m not going through this again. I’m now left with capsular contracture and in pain. I can’t even express how stressful and upsetting this experience has been over the last few years. Id recommend everyone to go somewhere else.

    Bless you… surely they are regulated by someone? Maybe try contacting them?.. I would personally go to the clinic and not move until I was seen! Or maybe get an independent opinion as well?… I hope it gets better for you xx

    I second what Amy said… I would be going down Mya and not refusing to move until I was spoken to. Also agree that whoever regulates these services should be involved! I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this… I don’t believe they can’t give you an appointment as they have given me appointments literally within a couple of days of each other so to me it seems whoever is dealing with you is purposely shunting you… what a shame…
