Had a call from my PC a couple of weeks ago with regards to my rippling (3 months post op) to book an app with the surgeon, trying to confirm that my pre booked app on Monday is with the surgeon is proving very difficult because they never answer the blooming phone !!!!!!!
Notts r the same!
What can be done about rippling?
They eventually called me back off the back of this status update, they need to start answering their phones and communicating with each other.
God knows what can be done Scarlett, don’t think anything can be done but not happy , I’m scared in case it gets worse and they needn’t bother telling me to put weight on cause that’s a definite no no xx
Sorry to hear that gail 🙁 is it bad rippling? Have u taken pics? X
What a nightmare babes. I don’t even know what to say about communication. When they answer, THEYRE AMAZING. Getting them to answer the phone however…but I think I’m all sorted. I seem to be in better communication with my PC now. Fair few tantrums before though.
Best of luck, keep us posted. I’m concerned about rippling also
Rippling can be corrected by putting on weight but again it’s hard to just put on in specific areas of the body, fat transfer or even reops to change placement of implant, some girls lI’ve with it.
All depends the quality and elasticity of your own skin, it does not cause risk to your health though xx
I can’t actually see it only feel it so the appearance of my boobs hasn’t been affected in anyway but I’m worried that it could get worse. Will know more on Monday when I meet with surgeon xx
@candybabey are some more prone to rippling than others?
I’m having overs, so i hope this isnt going to affect me
I had overs and have slight rippling but it doesn’t show and my husband can’t feel it, only I can. I had it from about 8 weeks, I’m 1 year post op today and it’s not gotten any worse. If it was clearly visible I might worry but only I know it’s there. It’s a small issue compared to having bigger boobs 😉 x
Hey hun hmmm no I wouldn’t like to Say as everyone is at risk of rippling how much % I can’t say as it depends on the elasticity of your skin how thin it is and again the longer you have the implants with age and pregnancy, weight loss etc body and skin texture changes.
I’d say if you already have thin skin more higher risk of rippling xx
