Bloating/swelling stomach

Hi girls, my stomach is SOOOOO swelled & bloated, it’s normally realy flat ? I’m on my 5th full day, when does this normally go down ?Xx

Mine is the same, I look pregnant! ?! I had mine done 4 days ago, I’m normally flat too, hoping it goes down soon xx

Pain killers make you bloat, so when you stop taking them you should go back to normal xxx

I’m one week post op today and I’m still so bloated when I’m normally really flat, can’t even fit in my jeans it’s awful!! I asked my nurse at my post op today and she said give it two weeks and it should be going down. She also said the flatter the stomach the more it swells and is noticeable!

Quick update – I’m 8 days post op today and I’ve woken up and my stomach is back to been flat finally!! I’ve been out walking with my mum the past few days and only taking one ibuprofen and paracetamol at most per day so I think this helped. Also peppermint tea is a godsend!! Drinks loads of that and water and it massively helps

I used to drink green tea daily anyway, so I can’t really tell if that has helped but I have drank more peppermint tea than green so I would say that’s more effective! X
