Boarderline uplift???

I had my consultation today and I’ve left really disheartened and confused about what to do. I’m a 34b and grade 1 sagging, borderline uplift. Dr mounir said it’s completely up to me whether I have an uplift or not and I can have a mini uplift with dr Andrea it dosent have to be a full uplift. Money is really tight as I’m getting married in August aswell so I was just wondering if anyone around my size just went for the implants and skipped the uplift. Any pictures would be helpful xx

I’m in exactly the same position.
When I originally met with dr mounir he said I needed an uplift which I was really shocked about and didn’t want one full stop. He mentioned about a mini lift with another doctors but it just went over my head as I was so shocked.
I sort of got my head around it and went to visit him for the second time to discuss size etc. He asked why I came back as I said I strictly didn’t want an uplift and I said I would rather have that than what I have at the minute.
He asked to look at my breasts again and asked what size I wanted to go. I said I wanted a natural look but I’m quite tall so wanted them to fit my frame. He said if we went bigger than normal (450-550) I would get away with it and only MAY need an uplift in the future. He told me he has dealt with a few cases like mine and most haven’t needed one yet. I would rather take the risk of not needed it then maybe years down line I may have to get one but that’s a chance I’m willing to take.
I actually made a thread about this late last week and quite a few girls were in our position and went through with it and were 100% happy. It totally depends on the outcome you want.
I get mine done on the 13th so can keep you updated if you want with before and after pics xx

Hi 🙂 I am 11 days post op and I was borderline uplift. But tbh I feel I was more in need than my surgeon thought. I have had 425/450cc High profile overs without an uplift and I am very happy with my results. I would highly recommend having just the BA, see your results then just try and accept that you will need an uplift in the future. I was a D/DD to start with so sorry I’m not the same stats as you just a similar situation. Lots of pictures on my profile if you want to look then feel free to add me xx

Thanks girls, we sound exactly the same!! I nearly cried when he told me to have an uplift, my head has been in bits since I came home ? I know that in the next 10 years I will need an uplift that’s just age related and is expected but to have one now and then in 10 years just seems silly to me. I think I will go and see dr Andrea on Monday for a second opinion and if he says the same and I am just borderline, I will just get the BA done and worry about the uplift later! Yeah that would be great if you could keep me updated Emily, I think once I’ve seen pictures and you have the same surgeon too it might put my mind at ease ☺️ Xx

I’m in the same situation too Stacey. Emily made a post the other week about it and I commented and I think Amy did too. Mr Andrea said I needed an uplift and implants but the more I think about it the more I’m put off. I’m hoping to see me mounir in the next few weeks and see what he says. Xx

Yeah that’s me Ella I’m really put off about it, I’ve seen loads that haven’t had it done and they all love them. I’ve got it in my head that I don’t want it done, I refuse it. But will I regret it?? Arghhh I need to scream haha xx

Wow they are great!! Think I’m defo just going for the BA after seeing yours, it makes a huge difference wether you have the uplift or not! Thankyou for sharing Amy ☺️☺️ Xx

@Stacey thank you!! I think what I had to accept the most was that with a BA I would just have a bigger version of what I had before which is completely the case. If you look I have a big gap between my boobs at the bottom in both pics and the implants look like they have a straight line at the bottom in the middle but I had that shape before. My nipples still point outwards not face on but I also had the same before. I’ve just gained more fullness and re filled the skin. I’m actually thinking that nipples are different sizes/in different places anyway so they be a tad more natural because of this xx

I have the same ‘before boobs’ as you Amy! (Only a bit smaller…) I was also worried about getting BA without lift but yours look bloody brilliant! Thank you for sharing X

Yeah Amy, mr mounir said the same to me that I will just have bigger versions of my boobs now. And the more I think about it the more I realise I don’t care about my nipples I just want BIGGER BOOBS haha. You’ve totally made my mind up for me, I love this forum haha. My ops on the 20th June so I’ll keep you updated if you want xx

@Stacey I’m pleased to help! I got measured today at a 32/34G so I’m over the moon and they looked amazing in every bra! I really couldn’t tell that my nipples aren’t perfectly central etc they looked great!! Best of luck. Definitely keep us updated! X

Wow that’s a great size haha. Oh I’m glad you don’t have any problems with your nipples now!! Been to see dr Andrea about half an hour ago and he said I don’t even need an uplift!!! He said there is abit of a difference between them but that’s just the semmetey so nothing to worry about. I’ve change my surgeon to him now because he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. So yep my surgery date is the 23rd June in London for 400cc high profile Unders. Soon excited I can’t wait now ?? xx

Hi amy ive added you, hope thats ok. My boobs are basically identical to yours preop and im currently trying to decide on round or high profile and the size, i dont want to be quite as big as yours but thsi has deffinatley helped me as i was worried about not having the uplift. Can i ask, on a scale of 1-10 how bad is pain having overs, im hoping its not to bad as ive got 3 kids to look after lol , could you lift your arms up ect , im assuming this would be alot worse for unders x
