Has anyone else been feeling slightly down after surgery?
I just feel like there was such a build up to the surgery; and now it’s all over.
I’m literally wearing the ugliest bra and waiting for the drop and fluff.
I just feel like I could do it all over again ???
I’m 2 weeks post op today, do my scars look normal?

Hi hun, in my case I was just super grateful to have boobs!! Had assymetry b cup with very low self confidence…

It is super normal to feel down it’s such a huge deal to surgery let alone there’s such a big run up to this type of surgery and then the healing process and all the waiting time and they change so much from week to week. That’s the good thing about this forum though speaking to people who have been through it or going through it, we’re here to cheer you up! Xx

I feel exactly the same. Just waiting for them to drop and fluff.
It’s very exhausting though. Physically and mentally. I’m sure it’ll get better. Xx

Hi girls. Let me help you out about feeling better about waiting and feeling lucky. I had to have one of my implants removed at 6 weeks as the skin just didn’t take. I have to wait 2 months till I can have the implant replaced. One of them healed lovely. I know wearing the ugly bra is annoying and you feel impatient. Just wanted to remind you that you could be in my position. So smile and Enjoy it xx

I feel so bad for you Clair I can only imagine how devastating that must be after all the build up and the excitement and everything you’ve been through with the surgery. The waiting now will be horrible but the good thing is that your other boob has healed well and so it goes to show that your body can cope with the implants, and it isn’t that they won’t work for you ever, it’s just that this time it wasn’t to be. Stay strong and keep focused on the fact that you will get there in the end. They say that nothing worth having ever comes easy and once you finally get the boobs that you’ve dreamed of you will just appreciate it even more because of this horrible setback.

Atleast 1 healed which shows your body will be able to take it. Have faith and I’m sure once you get it put back in; it’s going to heal like a dream and you’re going to have the best boobs ever! It will all be worth it in the end hun! Let’s cheer each other up xxxx

I think I have boob depression! I’m 8 days po and still not happy with my results! I know it’s still early days! I can see slight changes but still not happy with size, shape and how high and far apart they are! I’m over obsessing about them, can’t think about anything else but boobies! Everyone else’s seem so much nicer than mine! At my 1 week post op appointment yesterday the nurse noted my low mood and said it could be caused by the painkillers. Depression can also be caused by pain.
Michaela I thought you were happy with your results? Yours looked amazing from day 1!

Claire I’m so sorry that happened to you! That’s awful. I’m really worried that I’m going to need revision

Becca how are you getting on now?

I was thinking how you’re doing Siobhan.
Sad to hear that you are low and not happy with your result. But maybe that’s just caused by pill what nurse said and because of such state you can’t fully appreciate what you’ve got. It’s still early so they need to drop and get closer to minimise the gap and then, with the final result I’m sure you’re going to love them ?

Oh Clair dear.. It must be a pain to go through all this. At first there’s an excitement about the whole thing, preparation and procedure and when you finally get it, there’s a problem and you need to have it removed. But in 2 month time which is going to pass before you even notice it, you’re going to have two beautiful breasts again. That’s something to look forward to ?

Michaela, I love your boobs and actually like that ‘ugly bra’ ?

Thank you Siobhan! I am happy with results don’t get me wrong, but I think it’s the fact that there was such a build up to the surgery and now it’s all over and it’s just waiting waiting waiting. I can’t wear nice bras, or get bra fitted, or sleep on my side. It’s all just waiting now for the drop and fluff ?

I’m getting on okay thank you Siobhan. My boobs are still so hard and a bit of a weird shape and honestly don’t look anywhere near as good as most of the other girls on this forum yet, so I totally know where you’re coming from. I am trying so hard to be patient but I do feel a little disheartened and I do wonder if I will ever absolutely love them. The main thing is that they look very small to me considering that I had 430cc. I know I need to give it more time, and I am grateful for what I have now compared to what I had before. But impatience is real! We probably need to stop comparing our results to everyone else, because all bodies are different and heal at different rates. This is my current before and afters.

Thank you, you make me feel so much better! I don’t think it helps that I’ve put on so much weight since I had my op which is making me feel so self conscious, since my body is bigger my boobs look smaller in comparison.

Yours are absolutely fine Becca. Just give them time to settle completely. Katie, the other girl on the forum posted her changes over the period of 12 months and that was a shocking change every week.

Thank you! I can’t wait to see how they will look 3 months from now, 6 months from now and so on. Although the improvement in my situation from what I had before is absolutely amazing and I am so happy with that already.

Exactly. There’s a big change from what you had before, it’s a nice size, not small at all.
They’ll be only growing and surprising you all the time now ?

Hope to see the progress in your photos!

I think it’s normal to put some weight on after surgery; Iv put some on too. It’s all the sitting around and just eating whilst recovering. Don’t worry about it hun, you have beautiful boobs! But I totally get what you mean about the waiting game. I can’t believe how much mine have changed in 2 weeks honestly!

It’s so comforting to know that others feel like this. I am 3 weeks post op 325 unders and I feel like they are small and no clothes look right on me. I have been wearing big sweaters and cant wait to get some self confidence back.

Ah wow Becca they look great, they’ve changed so much and are taking a nice shape!
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one feeling like this.
Kinda wish I could fast forward to when I’m all healed and feeling happy with them (fingers crossed that’s not too long).
Patience is key, will defo keep checking in with you ladies as we all progress x

Thank you Siobhan! I’m trying not to look at them too often so they can just do their thing! I think it’s all too easy to obsess over them when we have spent so much money, invested so much time and put in so much emotion!

Boob depression is real guys, but I have stopped focusing on it and just looking forward to speaking to my surgeon. I’m definitely not satisfied with the size, so I would definitely be having another boob job but I don’t know when exactly but in another 2 years or less, because having one actually took alot from me, in terms of work, holiday, childcare, carer etc so I’m not looking to do distraught my life once again, so soon. So I would give it a minimum of 1year to recover and I would just use push up bra to make up for what I want. However, I don’t think boob’s make one have confidence but it does make one feel comfortable and love their body more. Also, because we build up so much towards the surgery and had so much expectant, we would get disappointed. I have actually learnt not to expect anything from anyone and I broke my rule, expecting so much. From now on, we can only hope for the better and if they don’t, we look for a way to fix it. Also implants look small in reality compared to natural boob’s. So a DD natural boob’s would look bigger than an implant and your starting point would determine your end result.
