    Hi everyone!

I’m not due to have my op for another month but just wondering what people were recommended RE massaging implants post op?

I heard that this help soften the capsule around the implant. What are people’s experiences?

    Thank you!! Xx

Hey, I had Mr Traynor and I was advised to not touch my implants. The nurse told me I didn’t need to massage either. I had my 3 month post op check with him two weeks ago and I asked about massaging cos mines are still quite firm and I see other girls get told to massage them and he told me again not to massage them. He said when I’m in the shower every so often just move them up and down and side to side. Think every surgeon is a bit different in there advice! Xx

Thanks Stacey. I actually heard that many surgeons don’t recommend to massage where you have textured implants?

Not sure if anyone else has heard this x

I think alot of the MYA surgeons use cohesive or textured implants which sort of attach to your chest inside so they advice not to massage as it stops it attaching and could change the shape xx

I’ve just had my 6wpo check and my surgeon never mentioned massaging my boobs, they are softening loads now and dropping 🙂 x

I’m sure textured implants don’t need massages get Hun as they designed to merge with our breast tissue from my understanding xx

I had textured unders as well and was never told anything about massage and mine are dropping nicely and I didn’t even have my surgery in England. So i think alot of surgeons around the world don’t advise the massage part. But at the end of the day each surgeon has his/her own instructions if you stick to them you’ll be fine, they know better about your case and the procedure done to your case.
