Hi girls I’m 5 dpo and have favoured my macom bras but I’m wanting a change. Can any one recommended any others to buy??? I’ve ordered numerous bras but I’ve had to send them back as they just don’t feel as secure as the macoms……xx

I’m having my BA in October, I was recommended Marks & Spencer’s ultra high zip up sports bra, I’m going with Harley medical & they swear by these bras!! X

@bethalex how did you decide what size you needed to buy before the op? My ops in 2 weeks and I like the look of this bra, but not sure what size I’d need x

@emmahll @hannahlaura Definitely the M&S high impact sports bra! I bought one today as I am one week post op and I find it sooo much more comfortable than my macom! I had 325 HP partials and was told that I could predict to be a D/ DD so I bought a 34 D, which fits perfect its nice and tight but comfortable! I am usually a 32 but the 34 fits so much better with my new boobs, I couldn’t even zip up the 32! The DD fit me fine as well but I wanted to get the D just because it was a bit tighter it felt like it had a bit more support! So I would recommend getting your predicted size but possibly a size up on the back!! x

@chloexo Do you think it’s worth me buying it after my op so I can try it on properly? I think I’m predicted DD/E. I’ve got 1 macom already but wanted a few others x

I wore Mya bra so comfortable but I did want a third so I tried a M&S one fab really comfortable wore it out of the shop I liked it that much, got fitted by one of the ladies so all good I thought. Drove home within an hour I felt sick it became really tight it made me feel ill. Determined I was going to have one I went back brought a larger size didn’t leave the shop wearing it went into another shop to try on some clothes decided to pop on my M&S bra I couldn’t get it done up by inches not just a little bit Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! So I returned it and didn’t get another one. My Mya bras have seen me through, just be mindful of swelling.

I ordered a YIANNA post surgery bra off Amazon. It was less than half if the price of a macom it’s been so comfy and all the nurses that have seen it have commented on how good it is

I had my op in May and I wore a Recova bra (I actually got 2 of them) and a Macom but way preferred Recova… its basically like a comfy bra! I still wear it at night/lounging around because it’s so comfy 🙂

I had mine done the end of march and bought a macom and two diff sizes in the M&S bra with the intention of sending one back. The nurse put me in an m&s bra… I’d bought a back size up to accommodate for swelling!
The macom bra was great at first but there’s a stage where your nipples are rock hard so the material sort of rubbed on them haha. Nothing a nipple pad didn’t fix! They were both great, macom gives the most support I think but for comfort it would be m&s! Xx
