Hi mine is driving me mad too. I’ve been told to wear mine 24 hours for 6 weeks! I try not to have it too tight as I’m still feeling really uncomfortable xx

I think this is something that is different for everyone, I was told to wear mine all the time for 2 weeks and then at my 1wpo appointment told to wear it just for bed for a following 2 weeks.. you’re best ringing the clinic and asking as I’m sure this will be in your notes xx

Thankyou, I’ve got my post op on wednesday so I’ll ask them then. It is driving me insane. When I left Preston the nurse was like don’t worry if you need to take it off for abit a lot of surgeons don’t even use it. I feel like this is causing more pain than anything xx

Hey hun I had mine on for four weeks but I had unders and a mini uplift
As all the girls have stated it’s really down to individual surgeon preference and should be in ur notes when u see the nurse.

I found the rubbing under my armpit the worst so I wrapped sanitary towels the band to ease the friction.

When I dropped wearing my band I felt relief but also scared becasue u don’t realise how protective it feels and keeps everything in place especially when ur walking in crowds.

I had to wear mine again at six weeks post op because one boob still needed to drop so I slept with the band for a week and it did the trick.

Hi hun, I think it must be different for everyone. I had 350 hp unders on Thurs and Mr Netri told me I had to wear my band for 2 weeks. I have to say im not enjoying wearing it lol it’s uncomfortable but I will follow exactly what he says as he’s the expert!! Im going back to work a week tomorrow so not sure how im gonna cope with it in work, I think I’ll be wearing cardigans a lot to cover it up haha xx

I’ve had same as you on Thursday by netri too becks. How you finding them? I know they are so high up, looking at weather tho looks like you’ll be able to get away with cardigans so don’t worry ha. I feel like it was 2 weeks but I’m gonna double check at my pre op on Wednesday xx

Mine are pretty high up too, I hope the band does the trick and helps them drop into place nicely. I’m in still in quite a lot of pain Hannah, how are you feeling? I’m trying not to be a wimp but they’re so painful and sore all over too, it’s hurts when I move and hurts when I don’t move lol I showered my bottom half today so I felt better for that but I don’t think I’ll be washing my hair for another few days at least!! How are you finding sleeping too?? I don’t remember being told how long I should sleep up right, I’m getting very little sleep each night! God I’m moaning so much haha I’m sure it’ll be worth it, just can’t wait to see the results as the weeks go on. I’m quite pleased with them so far but I know they will change quite a lot. xx

Becks it gets better – I had really bad pain for first week and still occasionally struggle to get up without pain in my left breast. I had Dr Mounir and have no idea how long I’ll have to wear it but had to have a day without my band today cos I don’t have a single thing I can wear without it showing! It’s definitely hurting less but I agree it seems to cause more pain than anything! X

I’m not too bad becks it’s the burning that’s getting me. I struggle to get up first thing in a morning but my boyfriend jus pushes me up and I’m fine then. Managed on my own today. I’m not finding it too bad the sleeping upright but I’ve got that many pillows ha. I keep waking up and I’ve slipped down, not getting a full nights sleep is driving me insane ha . I think my left has started to drop a little too.. I seem to be having back pain but I think that’s the sleeping and breast band in all honesty..

Jane how many weeks post op are you now? When did you start to find the Pain had gone.?

How you girls finding the bloating? Xx

All surgeons are different Hannah I didn’t have to wear a breast band at all with my surgeon and I’m only 11 days p.o. mine have started to drop I asked the pre op nurse yesterday about my bloating she just said it’s normal that it’ll go on it’s own just to be patient, personally I would take the breast band off at night and just wear it through the day but that’s only my own personal opinion xx
