Hi everyone, I have always wanted a BA as I have always remained an A cup. However, I am sick with worry about BII. I do not want any comments telling me it’s ‘all in peoples head’ and ‘not real’. I have done EXTENSIVE research into BII and can categorically say it is. I believe it has not been classified as a ‘real illness’ because the NHS would have to fork out millions to women that have reported these auto-immune disease symptoms as side effects, and currently you have to pay to have them removed privately. And well, obviously the surgeons don’t want to know.

Essentially I am asking if this is massively worrying anyone else? I can’t tell you how desperate I am to have it done, but I know these literally life debilitating symptoms can develop years and years down the line, and it is not guaranteed they will go after removal!!!! Has anyone experienced BII? It is so hard to find the statistics, but there is a Facebook group of over 100,000 women and there are a few small scale studies. The videos on YouTube of women reporting the exact same illness is so off-putting. There is no way women would spend 000’s on a BA they have always wanted, to then suddenly develop this illness ‘in their mind’ and then spend 000’s to get them removed.

If anyone can help PLEASE do I have never been so torn. And DO YOUR RESEARCH!! Thanks girls 😫x

    Hi Cass,

You have to weigh up the benefits of having the surgery vs the risks of any side effects that may occur. I’m sure incidence rates of breast implant sickness are relatively low when compared to the sheer volume of people getting breast implants. x
