So I’m booked in for Tuesday 15th January at First Trust Hospital Preston with Mr Mahdi, now I’m not gonna lie I am nervous but excited! I am 5ft 4 and am 34 H/HH and buying clothes is always disheartening because nothing ever fits or looks right & don’t even get me started on shirts/blouses haha! Ive told Mr Mahdi I would like to get reduced to D, DD maximum. I still feel like I’m going to have big boobs but I know there will be a HUGE change, it is like 8-9 cup sizes after all. I hate my boobs especially my aerola in ratio to my nipples… I can’t wait to be happy & not have a huge weight on my shoulders anymore. Anyways I was just after advice really on what to expect after surgery ? And if there is anything that I can do to help the healing process? Has anyone had bad experience or has everyone been happy with their results? Sorry for the massive essay ? thanks girls hope to hear some replies soon! xx

    Hi Becky,
I had my surgery on 30th October and it’s the best thing I have ever done!
Honestly though I did underestimate how little I would be able to do after the op. Just make sure you rest up and take it easy. I was in quite a bit of pain for about 3-4 days but every day just gets better and easier and it’s so worth it!! Everyone is different though and I’ve read that some girls haven’t had hardly any pain.
Before my op I pre made a few meals to have for when I was at home so I could just pop them in the microwave so it was easy. Eat plenty of fibre and protein as this helps the healing process.
I kept everything I needed out and on the kitchen side so I didn’t have to reach up high and you can’t lift your arms.
I would also recommend getting a v-pillow. This helps massively when sleeping upright! xx

Hi lovely, I’m so glad to hear that it’s the best thing you’ve ever done! I’m feeling the same, I know I’m making the right decision, I’m in so much pain (back, neck & shoulder) already, what am I going to be like when I’m like 80. That’s when I knew enough was enough and something needed to change!!
Well I’ve booked 6 weeks off work and my other half is going to be with me for the first two weeks of it so I reckon I should be okay and I’ve got plenty of support around me. Doing the meal preps sounds a very wise move, I’ll have to do that one myself! ??
Thank you for the advice hun & I’m deffo going to invest in a V pillow. How did your op go anyways? Are you pleased with the result? Xx

Ah you will notice such a difference once it’s all done!
That’s brilliant that he will be off with you! At least then you can really rest and make the most of the recovery.
My op went really well. It’s goes so quick.. I remember going under then all of a sudden I was being woken up and it took me a min to realise what was going on ?. So pleased with the results. I had an appointment today and saw my proper before and after photos for the first time. I have been taking my own photos throughout but it is good when you see the ones they take at the clinic.
I am absolutely over the moon with the results and even just the difference in my posture is amazing xx

Yeah, I’m lucky to have such good support around me. I’m dead glad to hear that you’re so happy with your results & that’s great about your posture being better already too! I’m looking forward to the op & seeing the before and after photos myself I’m going to take photos throughout the healing process too! Super exciting times, roll on Jan 15th. Xx

    How did it go??
I’m 11 weeks now. My healing has been good. Apart from a little infection and swelling it’s gone really well. My scars are slowly getting better. I’m using bio oil every morning and evening and it’s helped so much xx

Amazing! I’m so happy… they look fantastic. Can’t believe how quickly it was all done and I’ve had no pain… but still taking it easy to avoid any complications. That’s good super glad to hear xxx
