Hi Shelley, I went through the Bristol Clinic to book my BA. They are all lovely there and so helpful. My PC is Kyrstina and she’s fab! Really honest and helped me make a decision on what size implant to go for etc. What procedure are you interested in having done?

Hi Molly 🙂 it’s great to hear something about Bristol, I have mine booked for monday but can’t remember the name although that name rings a bell! Have you had your surgery yet? and you don’t mind me asking what you ended up going for. I’m interested in having the breast enlargement!

The Bristol clinic it’s self is in Clifton so if I live in Bristol u would probably no well that Clifton and parking is terrible! But u can park outside mya if there is a parking space (if ur lucky) hope everything goes well for you 🙂 xx

Hi Shanice, yeah I’m from Bristol and did have a quick look on google maps and parking looks awful! It’s good to hear you had a good experience at the Bristol clinic. How did you find travelling to London for your surgery? Also did you have your surgeon consultation in London? Did you see mr singh in Bristol? I have my pc appointment on monday! 🙂

I went through Cardiff for my initial consultation with Katie but she went on maternity leave that left me with no pc as they didn’t replace her & only went to Bristol for my nurse assessment & then again at Cardiff! Beth, the receptionist from Cardiff was really helpful though..I didn’t have a bad experience as such but I had an uplift with implants so should’ve been seen by the nurse after 5 days but the nurse I was meant to be seeing left which left me having to be seen 11 days post op then again at 15 days as I wasn’t healing very fast :/ they also couldn’t see me on a Saturday in Bristol as they said at my pre op so my boyfriend had to take 2 days off work sick to travel to Cardiff n back when I was in quite a bit of pain (my threshold is appaling) but I’m all okay now at 7 weeks post op but had no contact for a 6 week check :/ I rung Bristol 2 weeks ago to book one but they didn’t have a nurse in on 2 of my days off & with work getting funny I couldn’t switch shifts so I’m not sure how long I have to wait now but I’ll get there…sorry about the life story :/ x

It’s okay ducky, good to hear about people’s experiences this end as a lot of people have views from london and up north. Shanice, that sounds great although not the early morning but worth it 🙂 so you had a day case? so handy, as my partner would need to book a hotel otherwise and guessing it would have been the same for your dad! what surgeon did you have? Aw, excellent news! bet your pleased 🙂 do you mind me asking what size you were and then went too? Sorry for all the questions, just kinda want to get an idea of what happens step by step etc. What happens in your pc appointment? Do you get the opportunity to try on different sizes etc? My appointment is at 6.30pm, yours? x

Aww what a bummer my appointments at 10:30! Yeaaa day case! So glad I went day case aswell! Would only ever have overnight if I was told I needed to! I had me Singh an absolutely brilliant man! Ever so lovely!! I did have a 1st consultation with mr schvoonie but I really didn’t like him so then had a 2nd consultation with mr Singh and he was perfect! Yeaa I am so pleased atm can’t wait to have strapping off though! I was 34b tubular breasts, but I was wearing 34e bras, but the size implants I had was 545cc and 525cc as I had one boob bigger then the other! After all the healing I’m hoping they will be round about a full 34f cup 🙂 if I’m lucky!! Pc consultation is pretty straight forward, just goi through what you would expect after surgery, what you expect to pay ect! You don’t actually get to try on any implants with bras until your surgeon consultation, after you have discussed with your surgeon what sizes you will be going if I get what I mean :/ and don’t worry about asking questions just glad I can help in some way! 🙂 xxx

Ah dam! did you opt for day case? or the surgeon said you could be day case? as i know alot of people who stayed over! do you mind me asking how much you paid? and how you paid for it etc? i have heard alot of good stuff about mr singh! awww so excited for you, you’ll have to put some photos up! how supported have you felt throughout the surgery? how long was it since you had your pc appointment to consultation with the surgeon to then having surgery? 🙂 x

I wanted to be day case! I have been in and out of hospital all my life so I deffinatly wanted to be day care lol!! And there wasn’t really any need for me to stay over night! And plus more money! Lol! I paid £3,900 for mine and there naturelles aswell! I am only 20 (and just turned 20) so the money was a big issue! I had my pc consultation in October and planned to have surgery in December, then explained I didn’t have no tranpsport, so got moved to January! Then I seem me Singh and he couldn’t operate in January so then got moved to march which was a bonus for me because from October to march I saved the money and worked my ass off at work doing over time ever day also juggalibg a college course! (Now been put on anti depressant) so make sure you plan and every thing because it can become quite stressful! But my parents, partner and friends have all been brilliant and very supportive! Yeaa I will have photos up soon, most probs Monday when strappings off but ill let u no when photos go up 🙂 xx

okay, a day case really appeals to myself too! Wow, that’s really good 🙂 did you shop around meaning other hospitals/companies etc? as i’m currently looking at the spire hospital in bristol too! yeah, i’m currently 19 and at university but have lost a lot of weight (feeling better for it) but have noticed a real change in my boobs – obv the reason why wanting surgery! 🙂 such a good idea, think i would have to take the cost of the money over a year or something to be able to afford it, which is also something i need to think about! do you think that’s because you have been trying to do a college course aswell as recovering? as i’m hoping to do it inbetween uni when i have a bit of time off and then to be able to get back to uni within 2-3 weeks! great 🙂 glad your well supported, i have spoken to my mum about it but a little skeptical about mentioning it to anyone else, also i haven’t yet completed made up my mind yet, think this appointment will make my mind up! but atm, I’m very keen! I think if anything was to stop me, would be the money! yay thanks, how have you found the pain etc? when are you hoping to go back to college? xxx
