C-section & post op mums

Hey ladies,
I was just wondering which recovery you found worse?
I have had a c-section and managed that very well, so was wondering if the recovery will be similar, easier or worse?
Also if your scars healed the same?

I’m only 2 weeks po but I’d say c section was worse I’ve had 2. Everyone is different but I haven’t once struggled to do things like dress myself and wash but I would have struggled to look after my one year old the first week. I had 2 days of mostly rest as I was in a hotel then travelling home by boat. But from then on I was able to cook and do light house work but rested in between. Xx

I’m four weeks post op and I’d deffo say a c section is worse. I was never really nervous before hand about the pain because I felt surely nothing is as bad as having to stand up for the first time after a c section lol. My recovery has been great 🙂 xx

I had a breast enlargement 8 years ago, and a c section a year ago, the c section was definitely more savage. Xx

This has made me feel so much better! ???? I had a C – Section a year ago and having a BA in January and wondered how the recovery would be compared to the section! It’s nice to know if you can get through the recovering of a C Section then a BA is easier ???? Xx

Hi I’m my own personal experience my BA recovery after was far worse then my crash C section . Be well prepared for BA post op as nothing compared me to the discomfort of back , & neck problems plus not being able to sleep on ur side or flat, it’s an absolute killer. On the plus side My BA scars have healed much quicker then my C-section incision if you look after them , that’s the only difference I hardly feel they are there now compared to c-section scar as that’s cutting into ur muscles.

Luckily I’m 8 weeks PO now and like me having babies my BA was the best personal decision I’ve ever made ! Soooo Worth all the pain , good luck to you xx
