    Hi!
I am booked in for surgery 22nd March however my surgeon has now requested I have a blood test 1 week before the op to check I’m fit for it to go ahead.
I’m totally fine with this as I am grateful they want my health to be 100% (I suffer with recurrent UTIS) however I’m worried if the op doesn’t go ahead I will be unable to get my money back?
I’ve tried to read terms and conditions but all it says is if the op is cancelled due to the patient not giving correct medical history they will have a fee – NOTHING about a refund?

    PLEASE HELP 😢

I’ve just been for my vitals, and there was talk of cancelling due to me being asthmatic and not giving a high enough reading on the peak flow. I asked what would happen financially if they cancelled, and she said I’d get a refund…

@KSMALLEY what did the peak flow have to be above?

The anesthetist will decide if it can go ahead 😅

You will get a refund if surgery cannot go ahead due to medical reasons but I was told they can take 90 days to refund, I am waiting for an ecg to check I am fit for surgery so called and asked where i stood regarding refund etc and this is what I was told x
