Cancelled ops

Has anyone had it confirmed that their op in cancelled in the near future? I know there’s obviously much bigger things going on in the world but il be so gutted if i don’t get me surgery! Waited so long for this! My ops not until the 20th of April but not feeling hopeful! X

Mines the 14th haven’t heard anything yet x

Mine is on 30th March, my PC said it’s continuing unless you hear different. X

Mine is the 14/04, I’m honestly so nervous it’ll be cancelled. After wanting something for so long it’s like it all is in limbo. I know there are more pressing matters at the moment but i think we all have a right to be anxious after saving or wanting something for so long! X

My op is on the 27th April and I haven’t heard anything.x

Mya have just rung me now. My op is cancelled 🙁

I was suppose to be having surgery on the 23rd and I’ve just had a call saying it’s cancelled x

All ops at New Victoria hospital cancelled as of Monday. All ops with Dr Netri also cancelled x

Who’s your surgeon and what hospital? X

in Preston with dr Netri 🙄 hopefully this all blows over soon and they start re scheduling x

@jemima was your surgery March or April? Mines 29th of March with mr sleiter I’m worrying now 😩 I got my admission time yesterday which is really early

Of this month! I literally even got a call from first trust yesterday confirming I’ve received my submission time and what to do when I get there ect, and then received another call today saying there going to have to re schedule for end of April xx

@jemima oh no that’s not good! I’m trying to get hold of my pc now as I’m worrying do you know if it’s just that surgeon or? My surgeons mr sleiter xx

Really hope they don’t reschedule again as I was suppose to have them done on the 5th of March then they changed my date 😩😩

My op was the 27th April so I don’t know when it will be re scheduled for even though she said the end of April. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My pre op assessment was the 7th April and she told me not to attend. 😐

I’m not sure if it’s for the whole place or certain surgeons. The women who called me did say due to the lock down regulations have been changed. Hopefully all is good for you though and if yours is moved it won’t be too long! When I spoke to the women she said that I’m on the priority list to have it done and will keep in contact but I presume when I receive my next date it will be a very last min thing xx
