    Hi girls!!

Had my op on Friday and still feeling like absolute shit! The boob pains gone down a lot and I stopped taking cocodamol yesterday as it was making me feel so sick but I’ve got the worst dull headache behind my eyes that won’t go away – I’m presuming it’s something to do with the drugs – has anyone else had this experience and when did it start to die down?

It sounds like a tension headache, which will be a mixture of everything that’s causing it (drugs, dehydration, lack of sleep, stress, etc). Make sure you take on a lot more fluids than you usually would as your body will be retaining it and making the headache worse. And nap whenever you get chance. I had a few niggly headaches the first few days, but none since the weekend (5dpo) xxx

Christy I have the same thing, not taking pain relief but it’s a pain behind the eyes and sensitivity to light, I didn’t think it was related but now I do! Thanks for the advice Gemma!

Thanks Gemma and Claire – I’m getting really stressed! I came off the cocodamol yesterday morning but still not feeling myself at all, my eyes and head are really foggy and strange. I’m probably dehydrated too because I couldn’t keep anything down yesterday morning because of the nausea so I’ve not got an appetite to even drink. Just going to take Ibruprofen and hope it doesn’t make me sick – it’s reassuring that you both have had headaches though I felt like I was reacting badly to the surgery!
