    Hi everyone,

I’ve finally booked my first e-consult for next week (eek!) I was wondering if anyone who’s had theirs isn’t he last few weeks knows roughly when they’re booking surgeries for now? I know normally you can get in as quickly as a month or two after your first consultation but I’m guessing there’s a backlog of cancelled surgeries to get through… I think ideally I’d like mine done late October/early November but wondering if I should prepare myself to be offered a much later date! xx

    Hi Claire,

I booked my surgery for October back in April, I haven’t had my consultation yet but I was advised at the time to book in as soon as due to the backlog of surgeries which would have been cancelled during lockdown.

    Hope his helps 🙂

    Hi Claire,
I had my e-consult on 21st June. I am waiting for my patient co-ordinator to get back to me with consultation dates. She said it would be two weeks after my e-consult but given everything thats going on, i’m yet to hear.
She mentioned October onwards for surgery slots, but that was 3 weeks ago. So you look on track for your preference xx

    Hi Claire

I Booked my surgery 6 weeks ago and got given 13th October as my surgery date, this was the soonest one they had for my surgeon. I put my surgery deposit down before I spoke to surgeon at first as I didn’t want to miss my slot. I’ve now had an e-consult with my surgeon too and am very excited for my op 🙂 hope this helps xx

Thanks girls that’s all really good to know! I hadn’t thought that it would depend on the surgeon I get offered too but that makes sense 😊 bet you’re all so excited now it’s booked!
