    Hi girls

Sundays the day for me. So excited but nervous at the same time. Can anyone tell me what actually happens on the day as I feel a bit in the dark about it? I’ve read about blood tests, do they do any other tests? First time under G.A so bit nervous about that too haha! Any help appreciated xxx

Hiya, you won’t have bloods done on the day if they wanted to do bloods they would have been done at the pre op…. you arrive and they show you to the back waiting room, a nurse will come and get you and take you to your room. As soon as you get to your room you will do a pregnancy test and change into you robes, surgery stocking and go through any allergies ect with the nurse. The anethatist comes in and explains how he will put you to sleep and reassure you then the surgeon comes in last and draws on you, your then left to wait till it’s your turn and then you are walked to the operating theatre lay on the bed and they put you to sleep. You wake up in recovery with new boobs they give u pain relief if needed and then wheel you back to your room where you wait till your ready to go home x
