Hi I’m 14 days post op today and when me my partner and just turnt 1 year old got bk from hospital he walked out and left me, literally not even 10 min….I had to get ppl to pop over to put her in cot at bed time and my mum would come get her out in the morning (she worked nights near me) but had to do everything on my own, lifting her, changing, dinners washing everything, I look back and don’t know how I done it 🙁 xx

I have 5.5 and 2,5 year old and my younger brother helps me but it’s really difficult as they are so active and I can’t even do much! I am supposed to rest my hands but I really use them a lot except heavy lifting! I am really worrying how it will affect my result! I am only a 8dpo :/ I really recommend that someone really helpful next to you! X

    I have a 10yr old and 2yr old.
My 10yr old will actually look after me, but I have me sister coming for the first 3 nights to assist as my OH will be working. She will have my niece in tow to keep my youngster happy.

Ah Thankyou so much everyone I was just worried as I notice everywhere it says avoid lifting and I thought how is that possible with a baby haha, my husbands off for 3 weeks in December so I’m hoping that it will be long enough for me to recover before we are both back at work, Thankyou all so much for your replies has made me feel better knowing others will be in the same situation and have managed xx
