Did anyone meet their surgeon on their own?

I’m meeting Mr Marcellino next month and I have no childcare. My appointment is at 18:30 so my husband will need to stay at home with the kids to put them to bed.

Has anyone gone on their own? Or have ideas where to find a babysitter?! Haha. X

I met my surgeon today on my own, it was fine and really quick as I knew exactly what I wanted. One of the girls that works there was also in the room as a chaperone. You will be fine going on your own x

I went on my own as my partner had to look after our kids, I forgot to ask a few questions so write down everything you want to ask and take it with you so you remember, it will help as you do forget when your excited trying on sizes etc xx

Kristina has a very good point, write everything down that you want to ask!
I went on my own and was very unprepared for my first consultation with my surgeon. I have my second one next week with him and I’m going to be more prepared this time.
I think it’s good to go on your own so you’re not influenced by anyone else and it’s truly your own choices and decision! X

I went on my own to all appointments as my partner was working and I needed someone to watch the kids, it was fine I never felt uncomfortable once. On my surgery day I was alone all day and that was fine to, I enjoyed the peace haha my partner dropped me off and picked me up but that was it. You’ll be fine just make sure you ask everything you want to xx

    Hey
I did this all on my own. Appointments and got a taxi to and after surgery. The driver just had to sign me in & out. I’m still single….. sigh! and didn’t want anyone to know about the op as people can sadly be judgemental & negative! No questions asked as I wore v. Padded bras before. I felt comfortable and happy at all times with MYA.

This is all very reassuring, thanks girls.

I will be going on my own, I’m a bit nervous but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’m having a TT and BA so there will be lots of questions, I’ll make sure I write a list though! X

I went alone, I’m only having someone pick me up after my surgery too! Feeling super brave. There was a MYA girl in the consultation room but to be honest I’d rather it just be me and the surgeon.

I’m currently waiting in my room to go in for surgery, i went to all apps on my own. And my auntie dropped me off to the clinic today. Everyone who works here is lovely and supportive, no need to worry xx
