Hi, I have my first consultation tomorrow but I feel so clueless about it all. My friend asked me if I was going for tear drop or round and I don’t know what the difference is? Was wondering if anyone can help? I didn’t realise there was different types, Im a bit naive thinking they’ll just throw in some implants and voila I have great boobs haha.. I’m sure after tomorrow’s consult I’ll have a lot more knowledge but I don’t want to go in not knowing anything! Thank you x

Your surgeon will usually advise on the best type of implants for you based on what breast tissue you already have and also the look you want to achieve. I was hell bent on teardrop before I saw my surgeon consult but after he saw my boobs he said that I needed round because of the volume I’d lost at the top of my breasts from breast feeding. It’s always good to do research about the different implants available but really the surgeon is the expert on what will suit. Xxx

Thank you so much! I’m so excited but nervous, I’ve wanted it for so long. If you don’t mind me asking what size was you and did you go?? Xx

I was a deflated 32b from breastfeeding and had 300/350cc high profile partial round Implants. I’m now a 32dd/e and really pleased with the size. What are you hoping to achieve? Xxx

@katielousie2315 oh are you!! I tried on 350cc and 400cc yesterday and preferred the bigger ones.. but I have an appointment with the surgeon next week and going to see what he thinks best suits me as I don’t want to end up looking out of proportion haha. Did you find trying on the implants in the sport bra different to when you actually had the surgery? Size wise I mean? Sorry for the essay haha xx
