    Hi,

Just asking if others had dissolvable sutures and how long they were visible for? Mine are still very there? Itchy and annoying and make my scar very raised.

It’s almost a thick scar and I think it’s the sutures adding to this, which is good as in when they go the scar will be flatter- but when do they actually dissolve?? They don’t look like they ever will!

I’m nearly 4 weeks post op.

Kelo-cote-scar-gel-15g is great for flattening and lightening scars. I started using it 3 months post op as advised by my surgeon.

    Here’s a code for 30* off http://livebetterwith.refr.cc/francinep

4 weeks is still very early so don’t stress.
Supplements such as magnesium, vit b and zinc can help the healing process too. I took them pre and post op.
