I first noticed my implants didn’t look right as soon as I saw them there was no separation between the breast

I’m now 18 days post op and still no changes I’m so upset with my results

Please someone convince me that it’s just really bad swelling 🙁 has anyone ever expirienced bad swelling on the sternum ?

I think your boobs look great!
Did you have much of a gap before? If not you didn’t you won’t now! Same as if you had a gap before you will after.
Yes your sternum does swell up tho so it will go down!

I had really bad swelling between my breasts and was convinced I had a uniboob! I’m now 4 weeks po and it’s almost back to normal, just a bit of bruising low down. It does take a while to go though so I’d give it another week at least and then see how things are

Hunny you can be swollen up to six weeks so my nurse said so I’d say there still lots of swelling your only 18 days x

Yea I think it just swelling!
You only have a tiny space and a good size boobs to start with that a big implant will draw them closer together naturally!
I know it’s hard but don’t stress yourself xx

Ive heard about putting a pencil inbetween the boobs to encourage it to heal apart. But I have to say your boobs do look normal and natural.

Hey Hun, your gap won’t change from having implants, you had a small gap before so once the swelling has gone down and the implants settle a bit you will see that gap again. It really is just a waiting game; the first few weeks waiting for them to look more normal can be really frustrating though xxx

Hi hun, I wondered how you’re getting on? How are they now the swelling is down? I have symmastia following implants and I’m happy to share my photos with you if you want to see what it looks like xx

    Hey Melissa,

I think i’m having the same problem as you. I went back to see my surgeon at just under 8 weeks post-op and he told me i just had a “fat roll” and he guaranteed i’d love them at the year mark. Its now been over a year and there’s definitely still an issue. I had tuberous breasts to start with so getting them fixed was a HUGE deal to me and i had high hopes of it helping my confidence. Instead I just feel really let down… like i’ve had one problem fixed, only to be left with another one to fix. I’m really disapointed and I’m not even sure I have it in me to fight it like you are.
